The pursuit of happiness is a touch drama acted by Will Smith.In this film, he acted a great father who became an investment expert finally because of his endeavor and love of his son. After watching the film, I’ve been strongly touched and inspired. It aims to tell people what is happiness and encourage them to bravely face difficulty in life bravely.
It is just a common story about a father and his son. They are impoverished. The hero, Chris, acted by Will Smith, has a great impression upon me. Confronting a harsh reality, he struggles to survive in the cruel society. With wife's leaving, friend’s indifference, he can't ask anyone for help. Even for survival, he sells blood. However, he doesn’t lose heart even though distressed for a while. Finally he succeeds and becomes a stock manager.
Like Forest Gump, Chris Gardener have experience six stages: ring the bus, being stupid, running, internship, paying taxes, at last happiness. The key to happiness lies in one's heart, where everyone keeps their faith and hope, more importantly, and their attitude. If you don't believe in happiness, how can you tell it even when happiness stands right in front of you? If you keep pursuing it in a wrong way, how can you expect to find it? Life isn't fair. Sometimes, life even can be blind, giving the rich more money and the poor more trouble. But how can you blame life? Since the day when you were born, there is something that will not change, like parents, home and nationality.
Life is full of roses and thorns. A good attitude is what matters. Linda left Chris because of life pressure, leaving him and her five-year –old son, with the failure of his business, Christ had no money to pay for the rent, so they were driven away from the flat. They slept in asylum, subway station public bathroom or anywhere as a temporary shelter. When Chris held the Christopher’s head and against the gate with his feet in order that nobody can come in, my tears fell down, I was deeply touched.6 months' practice life with no pay at all, which actually could be called " happy" though it was a very short time of life., because of the great characters such as strength, faith, courage, tenacity which we can see from the father who named Chris Gardner. Things change, roll with them. Likewise, life
changes make peace with it. Well, I believe the best way to get a good attitude is to think and to learn.
In the movie, Jefferson's Declaration of Independence words about happiness kept recurring to Chris Gardner, that is --- " that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights". Happiness is the most precious thing in the world, which can be obtained in different ways. Life is not always a fairytale; we need to be tough and strong. God closes one door while opening another one for you.
