My Opinion On WEB CELEBRITIES

Honorable judges , Ladies and gentlemen:

Have you ever heard of Sister Phoenix, Feng Jie or Brother Sharp, Xilige? As I can see from your eyes, the answer is yes ,of course.

Once I asked my friends this question. For some of them who have been keen on surfing the Internet, it’s just a piece of cake to talked a lot about the WEB CELEBRITIES,without even the slightest hesitation.

Indeed, they know very well about the WEB CELEBRITIES. But things are a little different when I asked them about their roommates. What kind of person did he want to be in the future? What was he busy with recently? Why did he seem unhappy this morning? The answer was:” er… I have no idea, how about asking google?”

I felt somewhat uncomfortable.

Why did we know more about the WEB CELEBRITIES than our friends? How did the far away WEB CELEBRITIES have a higher rank in our heart than our friends? We are not conscious that because we are so concerned about the WEB CELEBRITIES that we haven’t communicated with our friends for a very long time.

Three years ago, when I was a freshman in college, basically,

nobody cared about who became famous through The Internet. And in our spare time, we played basketball together , went shopping together, and chatted with each other till the middle night.

But by contrast ,what do we usually do now? when getting back to dormitory , everyone’s first thing is to star their computer and then enjoy the time searching for all kinds of news about WEB CELEBRITIES till we are tired and go to bed. The noisy but lively and happy dormitory atmosphere had gone, instead , The deathly silence come. Because of the web celebrities, we ignore our friends.

The situation must be changed.

While the world wide web has made those who live far away more accessible to us ,it also made whose who used to be accessible to us

far away.

WEB CELEBRITIES can bring us temporary happiness, but when we feel lonely and depressed , it is friends that warm our hearts , it is friends that strengthen our power, it is friends that always side with us and make us truly happy, never the WEB CELEBRITIES.

So, Let’s keep the WEB CELEBRITIES far away .let’s take more care of our friends.let the lively and happy dormitory come back!
