Introduction of ShanHai guan

-The First Pass Under Heaven

This is once the throat of china,connecting the northeast and the middle of china ,where the best time and the worst time coherented ,Here ,the memory ,which reflects the whole history of china ,full of glory and suffering ,never fade .This is the first pass under heaven.

Focusing on the north of china ,you will obviously see a piece of wall standing there ,winding from the east to the west, this is the great wall-one of the eight human miracles on earth. Move your eye gradually from Ganshu to the east ,then you will finally arrive at the head of the great wall, which is called the old dragon head. Beside

it ,there it is ,the first pass under heaven. Since the establish of the pass, it had long been the most wanted battle field in the history of war. Battles here has made the pass tough and strong, magnificent and grand. When walking on the wall ,touch the brakes that lasted for hundreds of years ,we see an old man merging in the sun sight .His frown wrinkled, his skin slashed and his breath was heavy.

In 1368,a dynasty established with the capital in NanJing,a south city in JiangShu province ,it is called Ming .in the following years ,it unified the scattered pieces of china. Meanwhile ,the north and and north east were governed by autonomous minorities ,which are all tough and aggressive .they stare at the south and get ready to fight. but they never thought about it that several years later a piece of wall merged in the board line ,by which they were trying all their life to pass.The political situation in ming dynasty was far from stable. Soon, it decided to built a wall ,which will shut the north minorities out of the door forever.in 1368 a general called XuDa,the cofounder ofMing dynasty ,was sent to the seaside to supervise the construction of Shanhai pass.

As a defensive architecture system in ancient china,Shanhai pass was initially built for military use.When we take a whole view on the system,we shall be amazed at the elaborately designed structure .from jiao mountain, the wall rush down to the plan and then forms a line of watching guard to the southeast sea,it is where the old dragon head stands. Shanhai pass is built 5kilomitres far from the jiao maintain.ShanHaiguan city is also worked as part of the system.the east great wall is also the wall of the city.In ancient china ,a city was always square ,so was shanhaiguan city.in each side of the city ,there was a great gate for entery.
