Students of Grade7in our school have only learned English for half a year.They have got a little ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing.They are at the age
of learning English.They are active and completive.The writing is a little bit difficult for them because of the long sentences and the new words.But this is a hot topic,so I think my studentswill be very interested in this period.

1Warm-up.(5minutes)
Let students translate the phrases into English on the learning plan,remember the Chinese meanings and the pronunciations from the vocabulary list on the textbook. Enable students preview the phrases in this unit.Cut down the difficulties of the writing.Arouse the students’learning interests.
2Pre-task(7minutes)
Show some pictures to the students,let them discuss and practice the conversations below.

The purpose of doing that is to make a relaxing atmosphere for students concentrate on the English class.As well help them review how to decribe the weather.Help them get good preparation of the new lesson.
3While-task(25minutes)
Let Students look at the pictures in the textbook in activity3by themselves and fill in chat.Then ask some show their results to other classmates.If the one does well,
the teacher praise him.
In the way,the students can improve their self-learning abilities.And they’show their results,if you praise them,they’ll feel happy and like English more.
Show a short passage about the pictures form the textboook on the screen.Let students discuss the pictures and fill in the blanks.Let some pairs show their answers. Then tell the students,although the weather is not so good,the people are happy.So do whatever you want to do,no matter how the weather is.
This is a pairwork.The purpose of doing that is to train students reading and writing skills.Tell them the moral objective.
Show some pictures on the screen,let the students work in groups to discuss the four questions.Let some groups show their answers,tell them in different seasons we can do different things and wear different clothes.
Revise the four seasons and tell students the moral objective.
A small quiz.Ask students read the conversation on the screen,then fill in the chat. Train the students’reading skills.

The weather is not the same in different places.Watch TV or listen to the radio, then finish the chart in learning plan.
