The Difference of Chongqing and Chengdu

There are two beautiful citys in the south-west China, and they have closely connection since the ancient times. In 1997, they broke up into two independent but connected provinces, they are Chongqing and Chengdu.

Chongqing and chengdu have many aspects that seem similar, but more different.

In Chongqing province, we do not have a broad field of vision, beacuse there are too many mountains in Chongqing. It has another name —mountain city. But in Chengdu, your view speards out as far as the eye could see, beacuse it locates into a basin plain of Sichuan Basin. Besides the differerce in geography, there is another regional disparity in cultural atmosphere. Chengdu is a good place of leisure, most of the citizen would like to drink a cup of tea and play a game names Mahjong in the afternoon. Their rule of life is enjoying the life. But in Chongqing, peoplo is always busy doing someing—cooking, writing, studying and even walking. They enjoy their lives in a totally different way.

What’s m ore, the character of the two cities’ people is also differert, maybe it caused by the differert cultural atmosphere. The people in Chongqing is always straightforward, and care less about little things. In contrast, Chengdu people is more cautious.

In conclusion, Chongqing and Chengdu have many differences, and each of them has its own characteristic. Because of their characteristic,

they become more beatuful and attractive.
