It has caused wide public concern over the recent years that whether collage students should be allowed to get married. Many people believe that collage has no right or authority to interfere in other’s private affairs. But what these people fail to see is that unbridled behaviors may produce a far-reaching impact on the collage.

As for me, I’m fully convinced that marrying in collage should be forbidden for the following reasons. First of all, collage is a place where we students absorb knowledge and skills. If many students get married, they surely can’t devote themselves to learning since they have to spend much of their time and energy on their housework.

To make matters worse, what if the wives get pregnant? Imagine a scene of the campus in which pregnant women spread everywhere. You say give them an incident leave of ten months? Ten months nearly equal two semesters. Even if they get the holiday and give birth to a child, it will cost them increasingly more time and energy to keep an eye on their babies. Then how can they deal with their study?

In addition, think about the impact which the marrieds exert on other students. How will they regard the marrieds? If they discriminate against them, those married people will be separated and consequently be more uninterested in studying. If they admire those Mr. and Mrs. and therefore also get married, it will become an acute cycle.

From what has been discussed above, it would be reasonable to believe that marriage in collage can bring about negative impact. Any of the school managers who are blind to this point will pay a heavy price which they cannot afford. The only fruit of the combination of promiscuous abandon and the rarefied atmosphere of learning is the dust in the street, and a pathetic sense of being lost which hangs over the collage.
