The Most Unforgettable Experience in My Life

Since I can remember, there are many things have been gradually forgotten, but there is one thing that I will always remember. It has impact on my life and helps me walk along the right road.

When I was a student in middle school, I was in poor in English and always got the low marks. And I never volunteered to answer any question in English class. One day, she called me my name,“Jack, please tell me what it is predictive”. I stood up reluctantly and answer the question in a very low voice, I was sure the teacher would be angry with me. But to my surprised, she said,“You are great! For most students, they don’t understand this question. I believe you. Why don’t you believe yourself.”I had never heard this kind of praise before. With her encouragement, I decided to make full of my spare time to learn English .At the beginning, I had even difficult in reading textbook. But I insisted on concentrating on listening in class. After class, I will ask teacher or student for help if I meet problem. In many times, I wanted to give up, especially in learning grammar. But my teacher always encouraged me. Gradually, something changed, I started to obtain the top grade and was interested in studying English.

From the experience, one the one hand, I am fully convinced of the significance of praise. Praise is like sunlight to our spirit. It gives us confidence and hope. Don′t be mean to give praise to others. The power of praise will make people happy and confident. It can even change a person′s life. On the other hand, it makes me understand that if you have a strong determination, we will eventually make achievement.
