Do you like shopping? For some of us, shopping is an enjoyable way of spending our spare time and our money. Nowadays, more and more people like shopping online. That’s because it's more convenient to buy CDs, clothes, even food and other things. But that’s not the only reason: price is also another important reason. We can buy goods cheaper online. This has led to a type of shopping called “showrooming”．What is Showrooming? That’s trying in shops but buying online. It’s something many people have done. If they want to buy something, they will go to a shop to see, touch and try out but then go home and buy them online at a lower price. Research by a company in the UK found that 24％of people showroomed while Christmas shopping in 2013．

Amy Cashman, Head of Technology at TNS UK, says the reasons for this new shopping habit are that “people are lacking (缺少) time, lacking money and they want security about the products they are buying.”She explains that many people are not only shopping online at home but they are using the Internet in store or on their smartphones to shop around.

But does this mean technology will kill shops? Certainly shops will change. We mustn’t forget that buying in a shop means you can get more advice from the sales assistant and you can get good aftercare. It’s good to speak to a real human rather than look at a faceless computer screen.

(一) One possible version

My middle school life is coming to an end. During the three years not only did I have happy time, but I had kinds of problems. My biggest problem was too much homework. Homework seemed endless for me. It made me stay up late and feel very tired every day, but I knew the teachers were expecting us to do better, even the best in my lessons.

How can I deal with the problem? On one hand, I concentrated more on my study in class. On the other hand, I did the homework as quickly as possible instead of being slow or absent-minded, as a result, I spent less time on homework, and I wasn’t frustrated any more.

As we know, practice makes perfect. Complaining or waiting can’t help. Instead we should be active to face our problem.
