Step1 Greeting and check homework.

Step2 Warming-up and revision

(1) Play the tape, enjoy the ABC song or Hello song, get the Ss to sing together.

Step 7 Work on 1b(完成P1-1b)

T: Now let’s listen to the tape, find out the right conversation, and number them 1-3. (Point out the boxes where students will write a number for each conversation. Play the recording for the first time, Ss only listen.

Then play a second time, Ss number the conversations.)

Step 8 Work on 1c(完成P1-1c)

(1)Ask the Ss to practice the conversations in 1b with a partner.

Then use their own names to practice instead of the names given.

(2)Encourage the Ss to leave their seats, move around and greet other classmates.

(3)Get some pairs to come to the front of the class and act out the dialogue after they have practiced several times.

Step 9 Summary and Homework.

In this class,we've learnd the key vocabulary ,and how to greet people and introduce yourself.After class,please do these homework:

Oral work:

(1) Listen to 1b, read and recite it. (听读背诵1b中的对话)

(2) Go on making up your dialogues with your group members and polish it. (继续和小组成员编对话。并完善对话。)

(1) Copy the phrases in 1a twice.

(2) Write English names as many as possible in the exercises book.

Show the students the famous persons, let them guess the names of these persons by using:

The teachers says “Who is Jenny /Tom ?”Let the students say:I’m here /Tom is here. Step 2. Presentation.

The teacher asks the Ss to put on their false front to act as famous persons, and say (for example):Today some friends come to our school. This is Jacky Zhang(张学友), Then the famous persons introduce themselves to the class:Hello, my name’s (first name + family name). The Ss welcome them. Let the Ss know the difference between English names and Chinese names. Then make a short dialogue between the Ss and the famous people, let them know each other.

Step 3 Making own ID card.

Let the Ss make their own ID cards(including first name and last name).

Step 1. greeting and Revision:

Step 2. Show studying aims:

1.Listen and say English numbers from zero to nine.

2.Master and use the sentence “What’s your telephone number? It’s ….” to ask for and give telephone numbers.

3.Get the students to know some important telephone numbers such as 110,119, 120, 122, 96199 and so on.

Step3. Learn English numbers from zero to nine.

Show a girl in picture.

1)T: What is her name?

Ask the students to greet the girl. The girl in the picture will greet them, too.

Ss:….

T: There is only one girl in the picture. Teach :one

Two bears, three fishes, four monkeys , …nine boys appear in the picture. The students count them and learn English numbers from zero to nine.

2)Listen and repeat, pay attention to the pronunciation:(Play the recorder)

Give students 1 minute to check whether they have learn the English numbers. If someone hasn’t , help to learn them each other.

Step 4. Practise saying English numbers:

1)Flash English numbers and get the students to say the numbers. They can have only one guess.

2)Flash Arabic numbers and get the students to say the numbers in English. Begin with one number and end with eight numbers (my telephone number).

Step 5. Learn and practise “What’s your telephone number? It’…”

1)T: (The last number in Step IV 2) 63621406.This is my telephone number. You can call me. Get the students to say the number together.

Repeat the dialogue with several students.

2)Ask the students to ask group members’ telephone numbers and write them down on

Page 4. Then each group choose one student to introduce his group members with “His name is…. His telephone number is ….Her name is ….Her telephone number is….My name is …. My telephone number is…”

3)Making ID cards competition:

Group 1, 2, 3 leave their seats to ask others’ names and telephone nu mbers and make ID cards for others as many as possible within 5 minutes. Then Group 4,5,6 repeat. The group which make the most cards will be the winner.

4) Valuation.

Show pictures and remember the important numbers 110, 119,120, 122, 96119.
