The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Eisen und Stahl (Steel and Iron Standards Committee), Technical Committee St?hle für den Stahlbau .
DIN V 17006-100 is the standard corresponding to Technical Report CR 10260 referred to in clause 2 of the EN.
