《大学英语》课程标准 5.1 课程基本信息(表5-1) 表5-1 “大学英语”课程基本信息 5.2 课程性质与任务 5.2.1课程性质 《大学英语》是我院各专业大一学生必修的一门公共基础课,为学生在今后工作中的学习和运用提供了语言基础。本课程遵循“以应用为目的,实用为主,够用为度”的教学思想,服务于高职高专人才培养目标,通过课堂讲授和听、说、读、写、译的综合训练,使学生掌握必备的英语基础知识,提高英语综合运用能力,为学生参加英语AB级考试创造条件,对学生职业能力和职业素质的培养起重要的支撑作用。 5.2.2.课程任务 本课程主要任务是:通过课堂教学的各个环节,运用各种教学方法,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写、译的基本技能,培养学生能够借助词典翻译和阅读有关英语业务资料的综合运用能力,要求学生能够在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,进一步提高人文素养和职业意识,同时增强其自主学习的能力,为今后的职业发展和终身学习奠定良好的基

To that calmness there will succeed a tranquil repose. In that repose there may be careful deliberation, and that deliberation will be followed by the attainment of the desired end. 『3』物有本末;事有终始。知所先後则近道矣。 Things have their root and their branches. Affairs have their endand their beginning. To know what is first and what is last will lead near to what is taught in the Great Learning. 『4』古之欲明明德於天下者先治其国。欲治其国者先齐其家。欲齐其家者先修其身。欲修其身者先正其心。欲正其心者先诚其意。欲诚其意者先致其知。致知在格物。 The ancients who wished to illustrate illustrious virtue throughoutthe kingdom, first ordered well their own states. To that calmness there will succeed a tranquil repose. In that repose there may be careful deliberation, and that deliberation will be followed by the attainment of the desired end. 物有本末,事有终始。知所先后,则近道矣。 Things have their root and their branches. Affairs have their end and their beginning.
