With the entering into the twenty-first Century，science has developed rapidly, variety of new techniques appeared in the public view. Cloning Technology is the most representative case. Its most common process takes DNA from one cell and puts in a hollowed-out egg. Chemicals and electricity are then used to encourage the new DNA to fuse with the egg and develop into an embryo. This technique is called nuclear transfer. Human cloning is the creation of a genetically identical copy of an existing or previously existing human. The term is generally used to refer to artificial human cloning; human clones in the form of identical twins are commonplace, with their cloning occurring during the natural process of reproduction. There are two commonly discussed types of human cloning: therapeutic cloning and reproductive cloning. Therapeutic cloning involves cloning adult cells for use in medicine and is an active area of research. Reproductive cloning would involve making cloned humans. A third type of cloning called replacement cloning is a theoretical possibility, and would be a combination of therapeutic and reproductive cloning. Replacement cloning would entail the replacement of an extensively damaged, failed, or failing body through cloning followed by whole or partial brain transplant.

Cloning is a topic which causes intense debates among scientists and ordinary members. Whether it is useful , meaningful and safe for us to continue the work of researching the Cloning Technology? People has differentiate into two categories, one is supporter holds the opinion that the technology can bring human being great benefit back, and another is the objector holds the idea that it will cause serious damage to human society.

Cloning Technology is the most advanced biotechnology, it also has its own advantages which can solve many disease we can’t cure .the technique can provide us many new methods and new solution to the disease about organs’ transplant and cell illness. For example by taking any cell of you, technicians can generate a batch of marrow cells which are genetically identical as your original healthy ones. When these cells are transplanted into your body, the immune system will surely identify and admit them, so that the problem of rejection can be avoided, which will lead to the complete cure of some deadly forms of leukemia. Such is also the prospect of the transplantations of organs.

Besides of this, the famous scientists and artists like Albert Einstein, Issaac Newton, Ludwigvan Beethoven, Picasso can be cloned, and their clever brain and the sensitive feeling about art can be persisted and to make contribution to our society, to make more grateful achievement. Through the technological means, the fact is that cells have wonderful genes have kept and developed into a normal human who have the whoely same genes as the resource of the cell.

The techniques used have already demonstrated benefits during . Polly, a sheep clone at the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh has had a human gene inserted so that it produces a blood clotting agent needed by haemophiliacs(血友症) in its milk. Cloning of human cells in a laboratory could offer perfectly-matched tissue for surgical or genetic repair of humans.

Each coin has two sides, behind these benefits many problem of Human Cloning are also disturbing the coming times. From the technical means human cloning is a emerganing technology, it haven’t developed completed. There still too many difficulties which haven’t been overcomed. First of all, there is a high chance that the clone will not be normal. It may have some disorder or disease related to the cloning process later in life. Problems have be witnessed in a few animal cloning cases.

Secondly, there is also issure of the cells aging. Cells are believed to have a set life span, child starting off with the cell already aged. The most famous cloned sheep, her cell was used a middle aged sheep. It didn’t take long time to cause many disease such as lung cancer and knee disease which was common in older sheep after she was borned and her life didn’t stay for long. On the point of human view, when things like this was happen on human, we can’t accept it and it is unfair to the cloned one . Cloned man should have the same rights as which normal people have.

From the social realtion. It will pse grave social and ethical problems because the structure of the family will collapse if human is cloned. It will destroy the existing social order and human society would be ruined.

Whether a man can be success, was depends on many reasons, such as environment he live in and effort he put, not only depends on genes. However the cloned man may be not so smart as we have image but there will be many problems in body and physiology. The most important is that they will be contempt because they are just a copied one and have no position in this society.

The European Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine and the United States House of Respresentatives have already voted down the idea of human cloning in 1998, 2001, 2004 and 2007. The scientist has make a exactly research and the conclusion is more believable.

The therapeutic cloning haven’t show such a serious shortcoming but it were proved to do many good to human society. Its application is such a wonderful sounds to the medical field and a great deal of organ or tissue disease patients. Many peoples’life will be save by the coming therapeutic cloning. On the other hand, Reproductive cloning won’t accept by the society. It is a thorough destruction of the social relations and principle, we even can’t find a appropriate name to call them. They can’t get the equal rights to normal human and will be discriminated and be hit. Their life is cheaper than others in someone who have spite about them.

Actually, whether the Human Cloning technology is useful and safe to human, is just depends on the attitude we hold to it. The technology is a double-edged sword. It shouldn’t be a money making tools of unscrupulous traders. It can be more worthful and practical if we really realize its benefits and shortcoming.

Advantages and disadvantages of human cloning is still a controversial topic, as a mumber of Human being, my view is the most essential thing is that we should keep a presence of mind to treat it and select a correct method to deal with the relationship between the serious consequence and great benefits.

Human cloning technique is developing very fast, it is worthful for us to continue research or not is depended on its development. Let’s wait and see what happens.
