But at weekends, they always cook nice food for me. I'm happy in the family. I love my parents and they love me very much. I'm a student at Dongzhou Middle School. It is very big and beautiful. There are many classroom buildings and office buildings. Besides the buildings, there is a big playground. After school, there are lots of boys playing basketball on it. I think they are happy. There are a lot of flowers and trees in my school. They are beautiful. I like my school. In my school, I have many friends. All my friends are polite and helpful. My friends are all nice to me. They can make me happy. So I like playing with them. My hobbies are listening to music and reading. I like pop music very much. I dislike sports because I'm not strong. 高考英语口试

高考英语口试是针对有意愿报考与外语、涉外等专业有关的考生所设的考试,并非面向全体考生。高校招生工作过程中,也仅是把其当作参考成绩。因此在平时的教学中,并未得到老师及学生足够的重视。考生对之知之甚少。甚至许多老师也对其不甚了了。本文仅以笔者高考口试考官的经历,对高考英语口试做一个较为全面的介绍,并提出几点重要的注意事项及相应教学、学习建议。

考试步骤:

高考英语口试主要由两个步骤组成:1,朗读短文;2,回答问题。

一,考试前半个小时,考生需到各自考试候考室候考,并抽签决定考试顺序。未到本人考试顺序,不得离开候考室;考试结束后,不得重回候考室。这是为了避免考试内容被传递给未考考生。

二,进入考试室。当前一考生考完离场,后一考生将紧接着进入考试室。进入考试室后,可以用英语和考试老师进行适当的问候。如:”Good morning / afternoon.” “Hello!”等。但建议不应过于热情或过于正式。如,”It’s my great honor to be here today.”之类的话语并不合适。

三,朗读短文。进入考试室之后,将会由三位考官中的一位拿出分别写有一篇120 –200词的短文的三张试卷让考生抽取其中一份。考生抽取完考题之后,可以坐到考生座位

上,并默读短文一分钟做准备。在考试过程中,有不少考生对这一步骤很茫然,不知道该做什么。更多的考生则没有好好利用这一分钟的准备时间。仓促间就开始朗读。建议考生应当事先了解考试步骤,做好准备。老师也应当做适当的考前指导。

四,回答问题。一般情况下,朗读短文时,不需要考生将全文从头到尾朗读一遍。主考官会在他认为合适的时候示意考生停止。这时,进入了回答问题的阶段。这时主考官将会口头提问1-3个问题。考生应当根据实际情况作答。考官将根据考生回答的情况决定提问的问题的数量及顺序。之后教官将示意考生考试结束。

至此,该生口语测试全部结束,考生应离开考试室、考点。了解考试步骤有助于考生做好充分的心理准备,从容应对,不至于在考试过程中匆忙应考,造成不必要的紧张;有利于考生真实口语水平的发挥。

考试内容:

考试内容由两部分组成:1,短文;2,问题。

一,短文。在短文朗读过程中,将着重考查考生的语音、语调、流利度、重读、意群、连读、节奏等基本的语音技能。所以在短文中将会出现较多的插入语、从句(名词从句、定语从句、状语从句)、直接引语等内容。例如:“’Yes, you became ill in the red room, but you’ll get better,don’t worry, Miss Jane,’ she answered.”,“As we pass along the hill called the White Horse hill we look down on a little village called Kingston Lisle.”,“ I still remember my first visit to their house in the street where the oldest and richest families l ived.”。同时,文章中还会出现若干个非常见人名、地名,以考查考生对英语拼写、发音规则的掌握情况。如:Bessie, Lloyd, Maria, Frankenstein,Kingston,等等。

二,问题。问题将由教官口头提出。考生将见不到考题的文字。这也是同时在考查考生的听力能力。毕竟,听、说不分家。考生如果没有听清问题,可以请考官重复问题。比如,考生可以说:“I beg your pardon?”听清楚之后,如果需要做思考再回答的,可以说:“Let me think it over for a second.”并作短暂思考。回答问题过程中,最重要的是要注意:这是在“对话”。所以,不要照本宣科,背诵之前准备好的内容。也因为这是在交际过程中。所以,思考过程中的思维流停顿、反复,是可以被接受的。同时,口头交际中常出现的语音词、衔接语也是可以,并应该适当使用的。如:“Mmm”,“I say,”,“well”等。

回答问题时,往往需要考生进行适当的解说,而不是只回答问题本身。这才能达到交际的目的。比如,当考生听到,“Who is your favorite English teacher?”时,应根据实际情况回答,并简要说明原因。而不是只回答出英语老师的名字。

根据实际情况回答,将有助于考生表达出真实的情感,更好地达到交际的目的。

考试内容出处:

短文主要是节选于适合于中学生水平的英语文章或小说中。基本上都是记叙文体。故事性强,所用词汇多已为中学生所基本熟悉,句子结构也适中。适宜考生发挥。

问题都是有关考生个人学习、生活的问题,主要涉及以下几个方面:

1,学校生活:

Can you say something about your learning habits?

Can you say something about your school life?

Can you say something about your senior school?

What kind of school activities do you like best? Why?

2,家庭生活:

Can you tell us something about one of the members in your family?

Can you say something about your family?

What birthday present will you give to the members of your family? Why?

3,人际关系:

Can you say something about one of your classmates?

Who is your favorite English teacher? Why?

Do you like helping other? Why/why not?

4,个人兴趣爱好:

Which film star do you like best? Why?

Do you like watching movies in your spare time? Why/why not?

What animal do you like best? Why?

5,其它:

What’s the date today?

Do you like to study in a university in our province? Why/why not?

值得注意的是,其中有许多问题都紧跟着“Why / why not?”。也正如上文所述,考生应当对自己的回答作适当的解说,以支持自己的观点。例如:当回答“What do you usually do in your spare time?”时,考生回答:”Playing basketball.”那么考生应继续说明为什么,如:“as I like basketball very much.”或“Playing basketball can not only build up my body but also develop my character. And I can learn team spirit as well.”再如:考生回答“Who is your favorite English teacher?”时,可以回答,“I like Miss Wu bets. In her class, I learnt a lot of useful things in interesting ways. And she is very kind, and helpful. She comes to my hel p whenever I am in trouble.”

总的说来,高考英语口试主要是为了高校相关专业录取考生时提供考生英语朗读及听说方面的参考依据。它主要通过朗读和问答的方式考查考生英语的语音、语调和用英语交际的流利度及有效性。就中国中学生学英语的实际情况,笔者建议在平时的教学中应当加强朗读训练,并利用有限的机会进行英语交际训练。学生应当养成每天早读10-20分钟英语文章,在英语课堂上尽量使用英语思维、用英语回答问题的习惯。学校、老师也可以组织多种多样的活动,为学生用英语思维与交际创造更好、更多的机会,确实提高学生学英语、想英语、听英语、说英语的能力。只要有了较为扎实的英语语音能力,再加上对高考英语口试流程及内容有充分的了解,在高考英语口试中得到高分将会是一件轻而易举的事情。
