The teacher asked us to do the following before we visited. First, we should listen carefully and write down what we think is interesting when we are in the museum. Second, no shouting and photos in the museum. Third, we should hand in a piece of visit report next week.

We were happy to have such an interesting lesson. It made us not only review what we had learnt in class but also feel proud of our motherlan d’s great historical culture of more than five thousand years.

Module 7 Australia

During National Holiday, my family and I went to Mount Yi. Mount Yi is a famous place that has many beautiful views, such as waterfalls, large forest, green grass and nice flowers. We took lots of photos of them. And the air in Mount Yi is quite clear.

It took us an hour to climb up to the top. What a beautiful view we saw at the top！We played games, sang songs and then had a picnic there.

We got home at about 5:00 p.m. Although we felt tired, we had a great time. I hope I can go there again.

Module 8 Photos

There will be an exhibition at the Lido Gallery. Be sure to see it. Amy Kim is one of the best know photographers in the world today, and some of her most famous photos are on display in this exhibition. She really has something for everyone. There are many great photos of people and of the countryside. A few city photographs are less successful and they don’t interest visitors as much. But this is a great show from a world-class photographer. Whatever you do, don’t miss this exhibition.

Thank you for telling me so much about cartoon characters from America. Some of the characters you told me are also familiar to Chinese kids. For example, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry are well known to almost every child in Child.

As a student, I know I need a healthy body and mind. With the development of science, there are many kinds of food. But most of them are junk food. Water is very important to humans and everything with life. We can’t live without water. But there is less and less water on the earth. Lots of people from different countries don’t have enough water to drink.

And some factories pour dirty water into rivers, lakes and pollute them. Many rivers and lakes are seriously polluted. The fishes are dead because of the dirty water.
