In china,the spring festival is the most important festival that everyone will go back to their hometown to celebrate it.However,each city has different traditions and ways to celebrate it.

In my hometown,there are several ways to celebrate spring festival.For one thing,family will come back and have dinner with families,and the dinner will be very delicious and rich in spring festival called family reunion dinner.For another,we will let off fireworks,post new year’s scrolls and eat reunion to celebrate spring festival.What’s more,children will wear new clothes which means a new beginning in new year.Old people will give money to children as a lunar new year gift.However,with the development of our city,fireworks are not allowed to let off which makes the festival lose the happy atmosphere.Also,few and few people eat reunion.The custom are fading away.

Compared to the celebrations in my hometown,my friends’ seem to be more interesting and strange.In spring festival ,on one hand,they will watch a show with their families called lion dance which means new year will be happy.On the other hand,they will make bean curd to celebrate spring festival.What’s more,they are willing to eat dumplings which like our family reunion dinner.
