如何描述一个地方

文体概述

地点介绍是英语作文说明文的基础类型之一，介绍一个地方通常会涉及地理位置、占地面积、人口历史、文化经济、风景特色等。

描写一个地方时，在整体介绍的基础上，要突出这一地方最独特的方面，尽可能使你所描写的地方给读者留下独一无二的深刻印象。

注意事项：

1.注意内容真实，表达清晰。

2.注意把握时态，在此类写作中各种时态可兼用。一般描述用现在时，包括一般现在时、现在完成时等，如涉及历史典故则用过去时。

3.要有选择有重点去写，既有面的描写，又有点的突出。

4.安排好合理的顺序。一般从基本情况(地理位置、人口、面积)到延伸内容(政治文化等)。

5.避免开头指代不明。若文章没有给出写作对象或设定情景，避免用it作主语引导第一句，而应该具体写出描述的对象，如the Great Wall, Hong Kong等。

3.气候特征（注意表示天气变化的形容词）
