如何写征求建议的信件
(Practical writing：asking for advice)
征求建议的信件属于应用文，是指写信人就某一个问题向收信人征求建议，希望对方给出有针对性的解决办法，或者提出合理化的建议。
[写作要求]
1．明确问题。也就是明确自己需要哪方面的建议；
2．语言、语气要求简明得体；
3．写作要符合英语信件的基本格式。
应遵循以下步骤：
1．开门见山，摆出问题直截了当地把你遇到的难题或者困惑告诉对方。
2．态度诚恳，言辞恳切向别人征求意见，尤其是向长辈或者是自己不熟悉的人征求意见的时候，态度一定要诚恳，语气要委婉，让对方感到你的诚意。
3．思路清晰，表述明白语言要简练、流畅，层次分明，表述清楚，以便让对方一看就能明白你提出的问题，并能有针对性地给你提出意见和建议。
4．正确把握时态，保证语言准确性写英文求助信的原因就是目前自己在某一方面存在困难，因此应用一般现在时表达文意，当然描绘自己得到帮助后的进步时应用一般将来时表达文意。
[写作指导]
1．自我介绍，征询建议。常用句型有：
My name is... I’m writing to you for some advice/help on...
I’m writing a letter to you to get some advice/help on...
Could you please give me some advice?
2．交代自己所面临的问题。常用句型有：
I have met much difficult/trouble in...
I don’t know how to...
I really feel lonely at...
I find it difficult to...
列举自己所碰到的困难时可用first，besides，what’s more等过渡性词汇。
3．请求对方给出建议。常用句型有：
Would you like to...so that...?
Would you mind...?
Could you please...?
I would appreciate it if...
4．展望自己获得建议后可能会取得的进步。常用句型有：
I’m sure with your help I can make great progress.
I think I will surely...with your advice．
In the near future．I am sure I can...
