this is a story about a special and unreserved womanwho has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. the story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.

it seems to me that many readers ' english reading experience starts

with jane eyer. i amof no exception. as we refer to the movie “jane eyer ” it is not surprising to find somedifferences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains ----------------------------- to be an

independent person, both physically and mentally.

jane eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off whenshe was very young, and her aunt ,the only relative she had ,treated her as badly as

a ragtag. since j ane's education in lowwood orphanage began, she didn ' t get what she had been expecting ——simply being regarded as a common person, just the same as any other girl around. the suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.as a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, jane got a chance to be a tutor in thornfield garden. there she made the acquaintance of lovely adele and that garden

's owner, rochester, a man

with warm heart despite a cold face outside. jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwise: after jane and rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately cameto know in fact rochester had got a legal wife, who seemedto be the shadow following rochester and led to his moodiness all the time

--- r ochester was also a despairing person in need of salvation. jane did want to give

him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because

she didn 't want to betray her own pr inciples, because she was jane eyer. the film has finally got a symbolist end: jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. after finding rochester 's misfortune brought by his original mad wife, jane chose to stay with him forever.

i d on't know what others feel, but frankly speaking, i would rather regard the section that jane began her teaching job in thornfield as the

film 's end especially when i heard jane 's words “never in my life have i been awaken so happily. ” for one thing, th is ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with myviews hoped her to get. but the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: there must be something wrong coming with the excellence perhaps not only should another section be

added to enrich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of jane 's life that “life is like a box of chocolat es, you never know what you would get. ” (by forrest gump 's mother, in the film “forrest

” \

gump”)

what's more, this film didn 't end when jane left thornfield. for jane eyer herself, there should always be somewhereto realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for rochester, how he can get salvation? the film gives the answer tentatively: jane eventually got back to rochester. in fact, when jane met rochester for the first time, she scared his horse and made his heel strained, to a certain extent, which meant rochester would get retrieval because of jane. we can

consider rochester 's experiences as that of religion meaning. the fire by his frantic wife was the punishment for the cynicism early in his life. after it, rochester got the mercy of the god and the love of the womanwhomhe loved. here we can say: humannature and divinity get united perfectly in order to let such a story accord with the requirements of

both two sides. the value of this film maybe due to its efforts to explore a new way for the development of humanism under the faith of religion.

life is ceaselessly changing, but our living principles remain. firmly persisting for the rights of being independent gives us enough confidence and courage, which is like the

beacon over the capriccioso sea of life. in the world of the film, we have found the stories of ourselves, which makes us so concerned about the fate of the dramatis personae.

in this era of rapid social and technological change leading to

increasing life complexity and psychological displacement, both physical and mental effects on us call for a balance. we are likely to find ourselves bogged down in the sargasso sea of information overload and living unconsciousness. it's our spirit that makes the life meaningful.

heart is the engine of body, brain is the resource of thought, and great films are the mirrors of life. indubitably, "jane eyer" is one of them.

reading report

——jane eyre

jane eyre impressed me a lot. i was touched not only by jane but also by the author.

the author, charlotte bronte, is a great woman. although she had a miserable childhood, she managedto live a happy life, just like jane eyre in the novel. jane was painful at her aunt 's home, for her aunt was unsatisfied to support her in the case that her uncle was dead. then she was sent to

lowood when her aunt could not pretend to be kind any more.

luckily, she made friend with helen burns there and for the first time

she felt she was loved by someone. afterwards, with helen 's death, she grew up as an outstanding lady. at last, she was determined to go out to see the big world and she got the job as governess in thornfield hall.

it seems that they were attracted by each other at the first sight. though n rough footing at first, they fell in love. but the god didn ' t bless this poor girl. unexpectedly, rochestor had a mad wife before. jane was heartbroken and left him firmly. but nothing could stop true love. she refused her cousin 's proposal and went back to the thornfield

hall, only to find that this place was burned and rochestor lost his one hand along with one eye. in the end, her dream came true.

as is known to all, jane is an example of women.she is so kind, beautiful and independent. she is kind of tenacious. when she was living with her aunt, every time she was bullied or treated unjustly, she would resist rather than resort. and her very character usually made her in trouble. however, i 'm for her reaction. because what if we take it for granted that we should be abused? the biggest advantage of her may be her self-respect, or her high moralities. when she heard that rochestor had a wife, it occurred to her that she must leave him, though his wife was mad and he didn 't love her any more. in fact, she didn 't need to leave him in that case. no one would blame her. but she herself would feel restless and blame herself. so she left in the midnight without hesitation. we cannot imagine how much she wanted to have her own family. from this we can see she was so moral that she did not allow herself to be the third person. it is her high moralities that

madehim change. like himself said, ‘fresh and healthy, without soil or taint. i ' m sure she will regenerate me with a vengeance. ' we can infer that the fire by his frantic wife was the punishment for the cynicism early in his life. and jane 's goodness could pure his dark soul.

jane is pure, beautiful and persistent, which i appreciate very much.

and i hope to be that kind of people in the future.

jane eyre in my eyes

(更多请搜索)several years ago, when i was a little girl i have already read the novel jane eyre. at that time, i was attracted by the touching story. but today, after watching the movie, i was moved by jane, the adamant, independent, brave and honest girl.why did we say jane was an adamant and independent girl? let 's look at her childhood. her parents

died when she was a little girl, so she was brought up by her aunt mrs.

reed, an acute and ruthless woman. jane led a very bad life in her house. they treated her as badly as a ragtag. but jane didn 't surrender. later, she was sent to lowood school ,an orphan school. in there she didn 't get what she had been expecting ——simply being regarded as a commonperson, just the sameas any other girl around. mr. brocklehurste even asked jane to stand on the chair and vilipended her in front of all the students.

but jane didn 't yielded. and her only friend helen died, ja ne was very sad, but she was not depressive all the time. instead, she studied and worked energetically. at last, she becamea teacher of logwood, and later became the family teacher of adele. from her experience, we could found that jane was independent; she changed her fate by herself. she suffered more than other girls at her age. she

Oliver Twist, one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens’, is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century。 The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London。 The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime。He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse。While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings。 I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill。To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end。 One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs。Maylie and Rose and began a new life。 He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard

Jane Eyre is a representative work of Charlotte Bronte, a famous British writer. This tough and talented female writer shaped the image of Jane Eyre with her own soul to call for women’s independent self-esteem, and thus has touched the heart of countless readers during the more than one hundred years. British philosopher David Hume once said, “The ultimate goal of life is to gain happiness.” This can almost serve as the best explanatory note to Jane Eyre, the leading character in this book. The book tells a story about Jane Eyre, a British woman orphaned in her childhood, who struggles and adheres to her own belief in various kinds of setbacks for the constant pursuit of freedom and dignity, and finally gains happiness. By showing the tortuous and twisting love experience of the hero and heroine, the novel succeeds in shaping a female image who dares to revolt and to fight for freedom and equal status.

This is a story about a special and unreserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit. It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally. Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt, the only relative she had, treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lowwood Orphanage began, she didn’t get what she had been expecting——simply being regarded as a common person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.As a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. There she made the acquaintance of lovely Adele and tha t garden’s owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. Jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwise: After Jane and Rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately came to know in fact Rochester had got a legal wife, who seemed to be the shadow following Rochester and led to his moodiness all the time ----Rochester was also a despairing person in need of salvation. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolist end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester’s misfortune brough t by his original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever. I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s word s “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.” For one thing, this ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to enrich the story, but also we may see from th e next transition of Jane’s life that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.” (By Forrest Gump’s mother, in the film “Forrest Gump”) What’s more, this film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there s hould always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation? The film gives the answer tentatively: Jane eventually got back to Rochester. In fact, when Jane
