一.学情分析.

三年级的学生对英语存在着两种心理--好奇与恐惧。欢快的英语旋律,舞动的肢体语言,奇怪的语音语调让他们好奇;但不同于母语的语言,缺少实际表达的语言环境让他们有点恐惧。所以,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养他们学习英语的积极态度,使他们初步建立学习英语的自信心,培养学生具有一定的语感和良好的语音、语调、书写基础,以及良好的学习习惯,使他们初步具备用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。同时培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象和创造能力。教师在教学过程中应强调语言的综合运用,注意学生能力的培养,突出对学生学习兴趣的激发,重视知识的灵活扩展,真正将英语教学的目标落实到实处。

二.教材分析

这套教材是根据教育部制定的《国家英语课程标准》编写而成的。供小学6年级的学生使用。本册教材的特点是:1.强调语言运用。2.注重能力培养3.突出兴趣激发4.重视双向交流5.融合学科内容6.重视灵活扩展7.实现整体设计

三.教学目标

1.能听、说、读、写61个单词或短语以及7组句子和4个单句。(包括长度、重量、高度、看病、情感、周末和假期活动、旅行、晚会等几个话题)。要求能在真实语境中正确运用并能读懂简短语篇。

2.能完成1个手工制作。

3.能听懂、会唱6首歌曲。

4.能听懂、会吟唱6首歌谣。

5.能完成4个自我评价活动。

6.能理解6个幽默小故事。

7.能了解6项简单的中西方文化知识。

四.教材重难点

能按四会、三会的要求掌握所学单词。

能按四会要求掌握所学句型。

能使用日常交际用语,活用四会句型,进行

简单的交流,做到大胆开口,发音正确。

4、能在图片、手势、情境等非语言提示的帮助下,听懂清晰的话语和录音。难点

Step1. Warm-up and preparation

Firstly ,teacher do the self-introduction in English: I’m your new English teacher. I’m Miss Wang.

Then, teacher say hello to students. For example

T:Hello,XX!(Student’s name)

Ss:Hello,Miss Wang!

Let the students know that we can greet to other people with Hi/Hello!, and let

the students say hello to their deskmate with Hello/Hi.

1) Leading

A. Show the pic one of the story by teaching CD and tell students that we are going

to learn two new friends today! Teacher play the voice of Ken and Ann: My name’s Ann. My name’s Ken.

B. Teacher play of the role with the Mask of Ken/Ann. Let the Ss say hello to them.

C. Ss play the role Ken/Ann, Let the Ss say hello to them.

2) Learn the story

A. Play the CD and watch the story. Explain the text by asking: Who is coming? What is his name?

B. Lead the new pattern: my name is Mocky with help of mask.

C. Watch the story again and make the Ss learn to read the pattern: what is your

name?

3) Acting the story

Let the Ss act the story.

Step3. Practice

1.Finish Listen Number and Say in the book .Ask students to play in roles and

imitate the intonation.

2.Let’s Chant

Step4. Summary and Evaluation

Ask students to have a simple summary about what have learnt today.

Step5. Homework

Ask the students learn to say hello to family and friends and ask their names by using the new pattern

Review the last story by asking the Ss to act the story. and play the new story CD, with the question: Mocky, Ken and Ann go to meet a new friend. who is it ? Let’s watch.

2) Learn the story

A. Play the CD and watch the story. Explain the text by asking: Who is the new friend? What is his name? Encourage the Ss say hello to Uncle Booky: Hello Uncle Booky!

3) Acting the story

Play the story again and let the Ss act the story.

Step3. Practice

1.Finish Talk together in the book .Ask students to play in roles and imitate the

intonation.

2.Let’s Sing. Learn the song and encourage Ss to sing the song in groups.

Step4. Summary and Evaluation

Ask students to have a simple summary about what have learnt today.

Step5. Homework

Ask the students to sing the song to their parents.

Step1. Revision

Teacher do the self-introduction with My name is XXX / I’m XXX. and appoint one group of students to have a chain practice of the pattern of My name isXXX / I’m XXX.

Then make the whole class say hello to the student who is making self-introduction.

1) Learn the letter of Aa Bb Cc Dd.

A. Teacher play of English letter song and let the students know that we are going

to learn the first four letter of 26 letters in total.

B. Teacher encourages Ss to read these 4 letters and model the right reading.

C. Make the students understand there is big form and small form of letters and let them find that when the big letter would be used.

2) Learn the words

A. Show the pic cards of apple, ball, cat and dog and ask if the Ss know these objects.

B. Teacher model the reading of letter and check their reading group by group.

3)Color Aa Bb Cc Dd.

Teacher make the command and Students finish the task. For example: Look at the pic. Circle the big A and circle the small a.

4)Trace and Copy

Explain and model the correct writing of these four letters.

Step3. Practice

1.Let the students write the letters on their exercise book

2.Finish part 4 of these lesson and emphasizes the pronunciation of Aa Bb Cc Dd

in the characters.

3.Guessing game. Teacher show the letter but cover the first letter and mode the

pronunciation. Ask students which letter is missing..in this way ,Ss can sense the phonetic pronunciation of A B C D in the letter of apple,ant,boy,ball,cake,cat,dog,door.

Step4. Summary and Evaluation

Ask students to have a simple summary about what have learnt today.

Step5. Homework

Ask the students write Aa Bb Cc Dd afterclass.

1. Play the song once let the Ss explain what is the song about. Then explain the

song to students and play the song again and encourage to sing the song after CD.

2. Teacher model the singing and encourage Ss to sing the song together with the

action.

For example: an apple for you( point the apple and point the students)

An apple for me( point the apple and point teacher self)

An apple for the monkey up in the tree(point the apple and point to the higher point)

1.Invite Ss to sing the song together and check the singing group by group.

Then invite student to take our their photos and make the self-introduction with the pattern my name is XX and I’m XX.

2) Trace the letters and read the words aloud.

Let the students trace the letter and find the words start with the letter a, or the sound /d/.

3) Uncle Booky’s story time

Today we are going to know a new friend. Would you like to know his name? how to ask?

Read and learn the story together with students. Explain the usage of “NO.thank you”and “Please”.

Step3. Practice

Finish Match the letters in the book .

Step4. Summary and Evaluation

Ask students to do the self-assessment and revise the key point of this unit at the same time.

Do the revision by asking other person’s name.
