Hello!

We are fresher of geography science class 1 at the school of tourism and geography of Qingdao University,we would like to use this email to tell you a problem about room for individual study we are facing.As a fresher of Qingdao University, our understanding to the Qingdao University is not enough.In the process of gradually becoming familiar with the school, self-study becomes an important way to our understanding of the new school, learning new knowledge, as soon as possible to adapt to the college life.But then ,we found that fresher faced many difficulties when we studied by ourselves and looked for room for individual study. Because the university is not like high school which has fixed our classroom in each class, so we have to find own classroom by ourselves.But many empty classrooms have been taken up by students of junior and senior college, becoming the special classroom for postgraduate entrance examination, and fresher can not get into for self-study.There are also some classrooms were occupied for the professional students in the classroom, the other students are not allowed to enter the room to study.

In the search for the classroom,many of the students in our class found that the classroom located in the east of our college, Jingsi building and De Hui building was occupied by postgraduate, Deya building are Academy of Fine Arts and Music special classroom, only the East 12 classrooms in the evening with the empty classroom, but the vacant is still not enough.When we enter the room for individual study ,we can only enter the classroom alone.The loneliness and strangeness make us sick in the room.

We also made a lot of embarrassing things: when we are seriously self-study, suddenly a senior shouted at you that why you sit in his position, why come to the entrance exam or professional classroom?It makes us very sick!Although the best choice is to study in the west yard’s library , but the long journey makes us both physically and mentally tired, and will affect the quality of our learning.

These problems make many fresher who want to study to give up the interest of self-study, only in the dormitory gradually to worse and those who do not want to study will use this as an excuse to enjoy themselves, be worse.For those few students who can hold on studying alone, they will be out of class and become a loner.After a long time, the class will become more and more disunity.And it is bad for university departments and university.

We hope that the school administration can take some measures, such as giving each department or class a study room with some related measures and so on，to

change this situation and solve the problem.And we can give fresher a good academic atmosphere,to help the Qingdao University to a higher level!
