曾经遇到很多宝宝跟新姐说:我托福口语差可能是因为我性格太内向了,每次到托福口语答题的时候都特紧张,一下就不知道说什么了,之前准备的东西一慌也想不起来了。

在目睹几位宝宝模考画面后,的确发现几个一到口语部分上来就脸红然后卡壳了的,还有几个说着说着卡壳然后脸红了的……

有很多同学自己都觉得奇怪,虽然平时在涉及中文的演讲等的时候也会有那么点儿的不自在。但是也没有像托福这样紧张到什么都说不出来。

这是因为我们平时遇到的演讲和回答大多在熟悉环境内,提前也可以对内容有充足的准备,用的又是我们最熟悉的语言,所以问题暴露的并不算多。

而面对英文的口语表达时,考试的紧张感,倒计时的紧张感以及陌生环境,周边嘈杂,还要面对屏幕自说自话,就分外的慌乱了。脑子里一团浆糊,也没有什么所谓的答题逻辑套路了,想到什么答什么,结果恶性循环,越说越尬直到想原地爆炸就此弃考……

这类说不出口、说不满时间、平时思路攒一堆,考试大脑瞎指挥的问题,事实上并不能怪罪于你自己的内向性格,它可能涉及的根源有如下几个——1、 你的确很内向容易羞涩紧张

2、你不够自信&准备的不够充分

3、你的答题思路混乱、条理不够清晰,太过一根筋!

如果是第一点

在你克服紧张感之后其实是可以跳跃式提升的。但是这个心理关可能对于很多宝宝来说不是很好面对,难道真的要考N 次麻痹自己么?我们应该怎么做呢?

首先你要庆幸自己考的是托福口语,如果是雅思口语你可能会更紧张摆正心态,不要强求一次性考出好成绩,尤其是希望获得托福100+

的同学。大部分的高分都是刷出来的,至少我们需要两到三次的考试才能够考出较为理想的成绩。毕竟托福考试涉及的很多环节(就比

如独立口语),是需要一定量的熟悉练习后才可以应对的。否则即便你的母语是英语,都不一定能够侃侃而谈。(就像我们考普通话等级考试,不少同学都折在了最后说的那段话上)放松心态,不要有过高的期望的情况下,相对的不会过于紧张,脑子也能够活络一些,你的不自在程度也会少一点。

其次就需要我们多“暴露”,练胆量。在公共场合发言,面对镜头发言。如果没有像演讲、讲课等方面的机会,可以自己开个直播,准备个话题面对镜头侃侃而谈。(事实上很多授课经验丰富的老师在面对录像机的时候都会紧张)此外要注意,不要一个人深山老林修炼,找几个同学或者朋友同你一起是个不错的选择。

练习初期,我们可以对着电脑自己练,但一定要记得录音,并重听自己的录音。之后最好在旁边有人时候/正经的打开镜头作势要录像的时候练习。要知道有镜头或其他人在场时你的表达和你一个人面对电脑屏幕叨叨的表达会是不一样的。不一样的羞耻感……但等你经过这一系列锻炼,你会渐渐对这类场景麻木无感,真的坐到考场的时候也能够自然应对了。

应对第二个问题

第二个问题的解决其实也是一切获得口语高分的前提,首先要知道托福高分需要我们具备以下几点:

1. General Description :内容完整流畅有条理能让人能听懂。

但是临场很难做到完全原创内容的侃侃而谈,所以这就需要我们在前期进行大量练习,积累一些话题语料,并充分理解后学会灵活使用。

2. Delivery :语言输出整体“流畅”清晰,表述准确。

一方面我们需要在内容上充实,有的说,这点将在下面进行详述。

另一方面就是要匀速清晰的表达,在语音上注意重音和适当停顿、重读等。而这个需要我们进行一些跟读录音内容的练习来学习。

3. Language Use:正确有效的使用语法和词汇,自然输出你的语言。

这一点需要我们在备考口语和写作的时候,对自己说出口、写下来的内容进行回顾。并注重对语法错误和一些词汇句型的积累。初期的口语备考,我们也可以应用写下来的策略,然后纠正自己的回答。

4. Topic Development:45秒内逻辑的表达要有效清晰。

口语表达需要有逻辑有条理,但是有条理并不是说让我们一根筋的回答问题,尤其是对于二选一三选一这类题目的回答。

这里就涉及到上述的问题三

答题开口前我们要先思考两个问题——人家问我的是什么?我想要表达什么?

别看这两个问题非常简单,但是很多人在说之前没有经过思考就会导致答非所问、说出来的不是想着的这两个结果。第二步是列提纲。也就是开始说前,先在脑海(初期可以付诸笔头)列要点。像口语考试中表达观点类,你要列出你的观点(大方向),论据、支撑论据的缘由例证,最后是你的结论。如果是非议论性质的,比如简单的演讲陈述,那么就列出讲话主题,你要提及的重点一二三,然后结尾。

但是,答题的时候切记!不要仅仅就事论事!否则你的话题很窄,会非常不容易展开。在考试的时候我们往往找不到过多的细节来支撑,很多编出来的例子也不一定适合每个题目。就像这次托福口语考试中的题目——

二. 托福口语答题技巧 1. 语调轻松,不要像背书 托福口语考试是模仿交流的考试,所以一定不要给人一种你在背书的感觉。答题时要当成普通聊天,也可以加一些口头语,比如“you know”、“I mean”等等。这样的口头词语可以在你突然卡顿的时候,给你短暂的思考时间,也会让你的回答听起来更加流利和顺畅。回答期间尽量不要突然停住不说话,流利度很重要。 2. 内容丰满,自圆其说 口语答题时,一定要注意答案的丰满度,比如,举例论证的时候,一定要将例子表达完整。逻辑关系明确,如果分点回答,可以用“first,second,third”等词汇过渡,让自己的回答听起来条理清晰。答题时分论据一定要和自己的主题论据一致,能够自圆其说,切忌前后互不照应。 3. 平时多练习 托福口语的平时需要多练习,如果平时没有打好基础,那么考试中的技巧再好也是没有用的。另外,口语的练习离不开老师的指导,要及时根据老师的建议强化自己的薄弱环节。另外,平时多去用英语交流的场合练习口语。 托福口语素材之为什么我们爱看爱乐之城
