【教材依据】

为了探讨如何将《英语新课程标准》的理念融入课堂教学,下面是我对陕西省西安市义务教育课程改革实验教科书人教版七年级英语下册第五单元《Why do you like pandas?》《the world of the animals》话题所做的教学设计。

一、设计思路

1、指导思想。

以“英语课程标准”为宗旨,以面向全体学生,加强素质教育的渗透,提高学生的人文素养,增强学生的实践能力和创新精神为指导,本篇设计正确把握英语的学科特点和本节课的教学目标以及班级学生认知水平有差异的学情,凸显本节课“动物”话题在初中阶段教学中具有特殊的意义和重要性的地位,积极倡导参与,实践,合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学模式,目的在于实现有效教学并努力构建高效课堂,同时培养学生积极的情感态度和正确的人生价值观,不断提高学生的综合素养。

2、教学目标。

①知识与能力目标:识记并使用关于动物的大纲词汇以及重点句型,同时

能进行基本的听,说,读,写练习。

②方法与途径:突出听,说技能的训练,小组合作进行动物各类话题讨论。

③情感与评价:通过对动物进行讨论,更好地了解动物并且培养学生关爱动物

的意识。

④教学手段:多媒体课件,录音机以及课堂教学实物。

3、教学重点与难点。

①教学重点:复习并掌握运用关于动物的大纲词汇和句型。目前的英语语言运用尤其是日常的测试以上内容常常会是重点元素,因此把以上内容做为本节课的教学重点是重要的也是必要的。

②教学难点:运用各类句型谈论有关动物的话题。这一话题在初中阶段的教学中具有特殊的地位和重要性,它对学生责任感的培养和对基础知识点的综合运用意义深远。

二、教学准备

本节课是在归纳总结第五单元后形成的一个有关动物的话题,需要呈现有关动物的各类知识点,因此,课前必须熟悉并且扎实钻研教材内容,搜集各种适合本节课的教学素材,并且依据学生的学情制定有效的教学方案。同时,根据本节课的重难点内容,制作能吸引学生注意力和提高学生兴趣的课件以及准备必要的实物,使得课堂教学更加形象,生动,同时增加课堂的容量。

三、教学过程

第一个环节:创设情境,导入新课

1. 多媒体呈现一张西安秦岭野生动物园的图片,让学生领悟本节课的教学主题是有关“动物”的话题。

设计意图:用学生熟知的画面吸引他们的注意力,使得学生很快融入课堂,

并且洞察本节课的学习方向。

2. 让学生回顾所学内容,用brainstorm的方式说出尽可能多的动物的名称。

3. 引导学生观察并记忆快速呈现的动物的图片,同时让学生快速说出动物的名称。lion, wolf, bird, fish, elephant, bear, tiger, sheep, koala, duck, cat, pig, snake, dog, hen, monkey, butterfly, dolphin, bee, panda, horse.

设计意图:检测学生对知识系统归纳和观察,记忆的能力。引导学生通过思维自主生成本节课的部分目标内容。

第二个环节:师生互动,学习探究

1.引导学生观察各种动物的图片,教师提出问题:What’s this? What do you think of it? How do you like it? 等要求学生作答,引导学生呈现描述动物的形容词。

2. 学生就近组成四人组编一组有关动物话题的对话,用时3分钟。随后教师抽取

3-4组进行表演并适时点评。

设计意图:培养学生小组合作的意识和能力,同时让学生通过对话练习提升口语表达的能力。

3. 进行听力测试。教师播放听力,要求学生跟读并关注自己的语音和语调,随后核对答案。

4. 播放四种动物的叫声,要求学生说出动物的名称。

这些动物分别是:猫,蛇,猪和老虎。

5. 多媒体呈现四段描述动物的文章,随机抽取4名同学进行朗读和表演,其他同学根据描述猜出动物的名称。这四种动物分别是:老虎,大象,长颈鹿和熊猫。

设计意图:听的环节是“输入”的过程。带着问题听,让学生在听的过程中有的放矢,有效捕捉信息,同时根据学情增加播放的遍数能够更好地促进学生听力技能的培养和提高。

第三个环节:合作交流,巩固提高

1. 多媒体呈现2个中考试题,要求学生2人组合作讨论得到正确答案。并随机抽取2名同学进行讲解。教师适时进行点评。

2. 多媒体呈现2003年陕西省中考书面表达试题。教师首先进行解说,随后要求学生4人组合作完成大卡,用时5分钟。随后教师抽取4-5组进行展示,同时教师适时进行点评。

3. 多媒体呈现4幅有关人类残杀动物的图片,教师进行必要的解说,同时出示一小段倡导大家保护动物的文章,要求学生不断培养关爱小动物的意识。

设计意图:引导学生主动参与,乐于探索,勤于思考,培养学生收集处理语言信息的能力。鼓励学生模仿所学的表达方式,培养其较好的语言表达习惯以及运用目标语言进行交际的能力。这样的练习使得学生的情感态度和学习策略也得到了培养,而且充分调动了学生的参与热情,激发了学生的学习兴趣。

四、教学反思

本节课教学由浅入深,层层递进,环环相扣。它体现了任务型教学的设计理念,整个任务链的设计均围绕动物的话题展开,符合学生的实际生活和认知水平。教学过程注重凸显学生的课堂主体地位,注重彰显学生的合作意识和协作精神,最大限度地让每一个学生都参与到课堂活动中来。但是从教学效果来看,仍然存在以下几个问题:

首先,在用头脑风暴拓展生成有关动物的名称的环节,最终呈现的短语数量没有达到预期的目标,体现出学生平时的阅读和积累还有待于加强。

其次,根据学情所设计的教学方案在运用的过程中仍然存在显性和隐形的课堂边缘学生,因此,在以后的教学中,对这些学生应注重进行学习方式的训练。

再次, 部分小组合作的实效性欠佳,出现了合作的花架子和走过场的现象。反映出学生的学科素养和探索精神应该继续培养。
