The 8th AsiaSolar PV Industry Forum (Contact the Organizing Committee for details)

AsiaSolar Photovoltaic Industry Exhibition is organized by Shanghai Aiexpo, guided by NDRC, National Energy Administration, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, co-organized by China Council For The Promotion Of International Trade(CCPIT), The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products(CCCME), China New Energy Chamber of Commerce(CNECC), International Solar Energy Society(ISES), Solar Energy Industries Association(SEIA), Australian Solar Energy Society(AuSES), BSW and Eupd, and also strongly supported by Asian Development Bank(ADB), French Energy Department, Italy Energy Commission, and related overseas government agencies in Canada, Mexico and so on.

Successfully being held for 7 times, AsiaSolar has attracted over 2,000 exhibitors, trade visitors up to 200,000. The concurrent AsiaSolar Photovoltaic Industry Forum successfully invited about 300 related governmental officials, industry experts to make speeches with topics referring to technology, market and policy.

AsiaSolar has been considered as one of the world famous solar energy PV industry exhibitions and has made great contribution to the development of solar PV industry in China, Asia and even the world.

AsiaSolar will continue to keep an eye on the expansion of solar PV industry with global view, sharp vision, and always dedicate to provide enterprises with high-quality service and create more value for enterprises.

UU AsiaSolar 2012 Review

AsiaSolar 2012 brought together 756 exhibitors including many well-known enterprises at home and abroad such as Suntech, GCL POLY, LDK, Tianwei, Hi Tech Wealth, T ongwei, Canadian Solar, GIGA Solar, JingGong, TBEA, Sungrow, Almaden, Phoenix, Eoplly, Boostsolar, Yiheng, JS Solar, Sky Solar, Zhongyi Solar, Global Photovoltaic, EMERSON, FirstSolar, Meyer Burger, Spire Corporation, MEMC, GE, Canergy, P.ENERGY,Schletter, Monocrystal, BREYER Gmbh, Ontario Minister of Economy Development and Innovation, Applied material. Many companies showcased the latest technologies and products, among which GCL Poly held new products release conference—GCL high performance wafers which attracted over 200 industrial elites to attend. Besides, The 7th AsiaSolar also attracted 54，300 trade visitors from over 30 countries and areas to visit this exhibition.

Equals to "the Bo’ao Forum", the concurrent Seventh AsiaSolar Photovoltaic Industry Forum invited about 50 well-known industrial experts and PV corporate executives to deliver speech, Xu Dingming Counsellor of the State Council, Former Director of National Energy Administration; Li Junfeng NDRC, Wu Hai Vice Director of Science and Technology Department of Qinghai Province; Liu Hanyuan the standing committee of CPPCC President of Tongwei Group; Zhang Zhengyu Member of the national committee of CPPCC President of Hi-tech Wealth; Zhai Yongping Lead Energy Professional of ADB; David Renne President of ISES Chief Engineer of The National Renewable Energy Laboratory; John Grimes President of Australia Solar Energy Society(AuSES), as well as 1000 industrial elites to exchange views in terms of global PV markets, policies and technologies. Governmental bodies in Mexico, Canada and other emerging markets attached great importance to this exhibition and forum, they actively organized national pavilion to participate in this exhibition and expressed their keen interests in exchanging, cooperating and developing their PV industry and market with Chinese PV companies. Participants learned a lot from AsiaSolar exhibition and forum, AsiaSolar forum is viewed as the most international, professional and influential forums in China.
