Countries with a long average working time are more economically successful than those countries which do not have a long working time. To what extend do you agree or disagree?


More and more developing countries are seeking for the best way to boost the national economic, some of them believe that economically successful is depend on long working times. But from my perspective, long working time can not accelerate the speed of development, also may impose some negative impacts on the whole country.

Long working times tends to have an unfavorable influence on state economic.The key reason may root in the fact that workers can not have enough time to relax if the working times are longer than average stander. They manage jobs with exhausted body and tired spirit,even some times they can not bear the heavy burden and leave the position due to sickness, which directly affects the profit of the company. Furthermore,frequently exchange of employees and positions may also make company hard to keep going on. Consequently, the economical development of the this country can not fast and even slow than other countries.

The government and the stability of the society are also be affected negatively by keeping a long working time. One of the crucial factors is that the basic rights of citizens are not be guaranteed by governments. They begin to blame and even against the government when their physical and spirit well-being both be injured by working longtime. As a result,The immigration and unemployment rates are keep high and there will be more criminal behaviors which even threat the safety and solidarity of the whole country.

In sum up,long working time can not boot the economical development but affects the safety of the government and the society. Countries should formulate the policy to avoid it.
