佛教与基督教、伊斯兰教并称为世界三大宗教。广义地说，它是一种宗教，包括它的经典、仪式、习惯、教团的组织等等；但佛教在世界性的各大宗教和思想之中，显得非常特殊。凡是宗教，无不信奉神的创造及神的主宰，佛教却是彻底的无神论者；因此佛教似宗教而又非宗教，类哲学而又非哲学，通科学而又非科学。这是佛教的最大特色。

But in the world of religions, Buddhism appear very special. Every religion believes in god's creation and the master of god, Buddhism is thoroughly atheist; So Buddhism like religious and non-religious. This is the biggest characteristic of Buddhism.

You may think that Buddha is a god,but autually it is not like what you think .

?In a broad sense, Buddha is a kind of person whose sense, emotion and ability have been fulfilled to the upmost at the same time. They can lead the ordinary people to get rid of the sufferings in mortal world and to a new level of life.

?In a narrow sense, Buddha is Sakyamuni(释迦牟尼) who created Buddhism and who has fulfilled himself to be a Buddha.Sakyamuni believes that everyone’s life is

determined by his own deeds and even Buddha can’t decide who should go to the Heaven and who to the Hell.

?Buddha is a human being, and the only difference between him and the ordinary people is the time of awareness(觉悟时间的先后). “Buddha” is a name for all the aware people, not only refers to Sakyamuni

Buddhist culture, including a lot of abstract Principles and ideas, but today I just want

to introduce one of them which can be easily anderstanded.

从因缘所生的缘起观出发，必然形成动机、行为与效果一致的因果规律的理论，这是佛教重要学说之一，它对促进个人品德，自觉抵制不良习气，大公无私，遵纪守法，从而改善社会风气等方面，具有积极的教化作用。我们在日常生活中，一举一动，一言一语，都含有因果的道理。例如你恶言伤人，人家便会用恶毒的言词来回敬你，或者伺机报复；如果你热心助人，当你遇到困难时，便会有人来帮助你。同样，你对社会有大的贡献，就会得到社会的尊重。从信息论的角度看，恶口骂人，被骂人心中发生的怨恨必然反馈不良信息到骂者身上，反之则是良性信息的反馈。‘善有善报，恶有恶报，不是不报，时辰未到。’
