Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: If people have the opportunity to get a secure job, they should take it right away rather than wait for a job that would be more satisfying.

There is no doubt that the current job market is no walk on the beach for anyone just graduating from college. It becomes incredibly competitive to get a decent job nowadays. If there is an opportunity of a secure job in front of us, should we accept the offer right away, or should we waiting for a more satisfying opportunity? From my point of view, it is better to seize the opportunity first, especially if it is a secure job.

首先，从文章整体结构来看，本文结构完整，有开头段，三个主体段，和一个结尾段。

First of all, there is no perfect job, every job has its upsides and drawbacks, andthe definition of “satisfying” vary from person to person. Take some decent jobs, such as lawyer or doctor,for example. These jobs come with considerable compensation and a respected title, but they also requiresuperior academic qualifications and professional working experiences. Besides, these jobs might be extremely stressful or even

exhausting too. On the other hand, jobs like a clerk in the government or a librarian in a college or a cashier in the bank, might sound tedious and maybe only offer limited salary, but they are secure and usually do not have to work overtime. While, someone may look for jobs that most interest them or challenging, like real estate sales or freelancer artists, but they also have to realize these jobs are unstable, and they may end up barely make a living.

第一个主体段作者先提出世界上没有完美的工作，每份工作都有它的优缺点，而且不同人的对“满意”有不同的定义。优秀的文章中一定要有具体的例子，作者就具体举了三类不同工作的例子来阐述这段的主题句。

When deciding on a job, someone are looking for security or high-payment, while some people weigh more on other aspects such as working environment, further learning and training, supervisors and colleagues, opportunities for promotion, or corporate culture. It is very important to make clear what is the most significant aspect for us, and make the decision based on it.

What’s more , the goal of life is to fulfill oneself, but not only to fill oneself. It is much more important to find a“job-life balance” rather than a “satisfying job.”Enjoy the eight hours at work but not see it as a task, otherwise the job will become a burden and feel tired. Set priorities and living those hours outside the workplace to the fullest.

In fact, professional success usually requires the same

time-management skills that are useful to find time for family, hobbies, and recreation.

In conclusion, the worst situation is miss the opportunity and then end up unemployed. It is better to seize what we can obtain at the moment, then do not stop learning, preparing, and
