1、线性方程、不等式和线性函数
考点：线性方程、线性不等式的解法,线性函数的应用.
易错点：线性不等式解题过程中易出错
例：In 2014,Country X had 783 miles of paved roads. Startingin 2015, the country has been building 8 miles of new paved roads each year. Atthis rate, how many miles of paved roads will country have in 2030?(OG P234)
分析：这是典型的线性函数的应用。设未来的某一年到 2014 相隔有 n 年,则总里程数 F(n)=783+8n.那么,2030 年与 2014 年相隔 16年,将 n=16 带入,有 F(16)=911.
2、绝对值
考点：绝对值的概念、绝对值不等式的解法
易错点：
a) 原点处的绝对值
b) 绝对值不等式的解法
例：The stratosphere is the layer of the Earth’s atmospherethat is more than 10 kilometers(km) and less than 50 km above the Earth’ssurface. Which of the following inequalities describes all possible heights x,in km, above the Earth’s surface that are in the stratosphere?(OG P236)

分析：这道题乍看起来似乎有难度,但是如果理解了绝对值的本质就非常容易了。绝对值是指数轴上各点到原点的距离。而在本题中,地球表面 10 米到 50 米的区域被称为 stratosphere, 我们取中间点 30 米处为原点,也就是原点上下 20 米之内都是stratosphere. 所以 D正确
3、二元线性方程组及二元线性不等式的应用
考点：应用题首先要能把生活背景转化成数学公式,要学会如何列出方程组和不等式
易错点：如何列出方程组或者不等式组
解题技巧：首先就把两个未知数假设出来,然后根据题意中的每一句话列出相应的方程。
例：Maizah bought a pair of pants and a briefcase at adepartment store. The sum of the prices before sales tax was $130. There was nosales tax on the pants and a 9% sales tax on the briefcase. The total paid,including the sales tax ,was $ 136.75. What was the price, in dollars, of thepants?(OG P237)
分析：题目问短裤的价格,但是还有一个变量我们不知道,那就是公文包的价格。
我们假设短裤的价格为 X,公文包的价格为 Y.税前:X+Y=130税后:X+1.09Y=136.75解得:X=55.Y=75
强调:解二元方程组的能力也是新 SAT 考查重点,大家一定要多练。
4、平面坐标系中直线与方程的关系
考点：直线平行、相交、垂直在二元线性方程组里的体现易错点:直线的斜率容易错

分析：虽然问的是方程有没有解,但是如果把两个方程所代表的直线在坐标系中画出来,可以看到两条直线平行,没有交点。所以选A

分析：因为成人与孩子是 5:1,所以我们假设成人数量是 5x, 孩子数量是 x,那么
