Sub: Sampling of Fine and Coarse Aggregate

Reference is made to the above captioned subject.

Pursuant to Technical Specifications, VI-II.8 Construction Works, 8.13.3 Aggregates, it is stated that:

All aggregates shall be obtained from sources approved by the Project Manager, and shall be clean and free of clay, earth, organic matter, salt or other impurities, for both the fine and coarse aggregates proposed to be used for the Works, the Contractor shall furnish samples to the Project Manager.

Kindly it is informed that the coarse aggregate would be obtained from Kasansamuna Quarry of Kacholola of MOATENGIL ZAMBIA under RDA and the fine aggregate would be obtained from Luangwe River, and the sample is furnish to you for inspection.
