名著的英语读后感 第一篇:呼啸山庄名著英语读后感 a reading report of wuthering heights the book i have read this term is wuthering heights. emily bronte is perhaps the greatest writer of the three bronte sisters——charlotte bronte, emily, and anne bronte. emily bronte published only one novel, wuthering heights . some of her best lyric are also rated with the best in english poetry. her famous poems are love and friendship, the bluebell. a man named lockwood rents a manor house called thrushcross grange where the housekeeper nelly tells him the story here. one day, mr. earnshaw, the owner of the manor, goes to liverpool and returns home with an orphan boy. at first, the earnshaw children——a boy named hindley and his younger sister catherine ——detest heathcliff. but catherine quickly es to love him. mr. earnshaw prefers him to his own son, and he sends hindley away to college when he treats heathcliff badly. then mr. earnshaw dies, and hindley returns with a wife. he treats heathcliff as a labor to seek revenge on him. one night, heathcliff and catherine wander to thrushcross grange. catherine is bitten by a dog and is forced to stay at the the grange. during that time, she infatuates with edgar. catherine’s desire for social advancement prompts her to bee engaged to edgar linton. heathcliff runs aways froms wuthering heights, and returning shortly after catherine and edgar’s marriage. then he deviously lends money to drunken hindley. when hindley dies, he inherits the manor. he places himself in line to inherit thrushcross grange by marring isabella linton. catherine bees ill, she gives birth to a daughter and dies. shortly therefore, isabella flees to london and gives birth to heathcliff’s son, named hareton. thirteen years pass, young catherine meets hareton. they began a secret romance. linton pursues catherine only because his father forces him to. when edgar nears death, heathcliff lures and holds catherine prisoner until she marries linton. then edgar and linton die soon. six months later, lockwood returns, and finds that catherine grows to love hareton as they live together and plan to be married. heathcliff bees

爱你需要勇气 ——读《教学勇气——漫步教师心灵》有感 隋福太 读了《教学勇气——漫步教师心灵》这部书,就仿佛跟着作者进入到了教学中未知的“自我”领域进行一次旅行。美国教育家帕克. 帕尔默在一系列富有洞察力和说服力且充满激情的著作中,加深了我们对什么是教育与受教育者的理解。 帕克在他的《教学勇气》一书中这样说:越热爱教学的老师,可能就越伤心!很多教师非常热爱教学,但他们却时常遇到很多困难,并因此感到无助和恐惧。是的,我们都有过这样的经历:初上讲台时如履薄冰的紧张,辛苦的付出得不到相应回报时的烦恼,满腔的热忱得不到理解时的苦闷,在理想和现实的巨大落差面前的无奈。有时,那热爱教育的心会怀疑、会动摇、会退缩。 作为一个教师,该如何在热爱教学的同时又不失勇气呢?这种勇气又来自哪里呢? 帕克以他的实践经验给出了我们答案:他提出了作为一个教师,在教学方法和技巧之外一个特殊的、不被人重视的领域——教师的内心。他指出了好老师与不好老师的区别:他认为,好老师有一共同的特质:一种把他们个人的自身认同融入工作的强烈意识;而不好的老师把自己置身于他正在教的学科之外——在此过程中,也远离了学生。而好老师则在生活中将自己、学科和学生联合起来,也就是说,好的教师具有联合能力,他们能够将自己、所教学科和他们的学生编织成复杂的联系网,以便学生能够学会去编织一个他们自己的世界。好老师形成联合不在于他们的方法,而在于他们的心灵——即人类自身中整合智能、情感、精神和意志所在。帕克是这样生动地描述这种联合能力的:“当优秀教师把他们和学生与学科结合在一起编织生活时,那么他们的心灵就是织布机,针线在这里牵引,力在这里绷紧,线梭子在这里转动,从而生活的方方面面被精密地编织伸展。”他进一步阐述,对热爱教学的教师来说,教学牵动着教师的心,打开教师的心,甚至伤了教师的心——越热爱教学的老师,可能就越伤心!教学的勇气在于有勇气保持心灵的开放,即使力不从心仍然能够坚持,那样,教师、学生和学科才能被编织到学习和生活所需要的共同体结构中。 作为一个教师,我们很容易理解他的这种所谓的“联合力”,每一个教师,不论他优秀与否,肯定都过几节自己满意的课,这些成功的课是他把自身、学科和学生结合得最完美的。帕克认为:好的教学来源于教师的自身认同和自身完整。对优秀教学而言,解决教师的自身认同和自身完整问题比技巧更重要。 作为教师,想要成长,想要做个好教师,该怎样才能找到自身、学科和学生的最佳结合点呢?以我对本书的理解及自己的教学经验,我认为主要有以下三点:1)勤学习。 作为一个教师,必须不断地学习。不仅要学习专业知识,还要学习教学理论。不仅要向书本学习,还要向生活学习,向我们的学生学习。谈到向学生学习,许多老师可能会皱起眉头感叹:我们的学生真是一代不如一代了!我们的学生真的是一代不如一代了吗?当我们的学生坐在电脑前娴熟灵巧玩着游戏,嘴里唱着周杰伦的说唱词的时候,我们不得不承认他们有优于我们的能力。帕尔默的发现是:教师要让自己处于不断的自我更新、自我变革之中。如果不学习,教师很快就会陷入不适应、不稳定、不平静的恐惧之中。正如《孙子兵法》说的“知己知彼,百战不殆。”这里的知己、知彼主要通过学习。 2)多钻研。 教师要钻研教材、教法、研究我们的学生,特别是在备课的时候,要把握教材的要求、重点、难点,了解学生的实际认知,以学生容易接受的方式,将知识传授给学生。正如那些名师所说:一堂精彩的课,功夫在课外。例如,听名师于漪老师的课,可看出她的功夫全在课外,首先是修身、好学,而后是管理自己的课堂。俗话说“教无定法,贵在得法。”实践是教学的主要阵地,帕尔默就是以他的导师为榜样,在漫长的实践中不断反思,寻找到一种与他的本性更契合的教学方式的。 3)保持心灵的开放。 帕尔默认为:对优秀教学而言,解决教师的自身认同和自身完整比技巧更重要,作为教师,我们要成长,就必须作一些学术以外的事:交流内心生活。“今天我们怎样当教师?”——许多人都问过于漪这个问题。她的回答是,首先必须追求人格的完美。于漪的这种人格的完美与帕尔默的自身认同和自身完整应该是一致的。一个优秀的教师,他的心灵应该是开放的,他有勇气把他的一切展示给学生,包括他的思想、他的内心世界,他不仅在教学科,而是在教自己——即展示自己。陶行知说:生活即教育,教育即生活。生活中有教学取之不尽,用之不竭的财富。 帕克告诉我们,教师的威信、教师在课堂的那种泰然自若的定力,来自教师的内心。当教师唤回了自身的认同和自身的完整时,也就是他的人格趋于完美时,就有机会在学生们的内心获得默契的回应和共鸣。因此,教师应该经常与自己的内心对话,以各种可能的方式倾听来自心灵内部的声音,这样我们才有资格深入到学生的内心世界,这不只是为了我们的工作,更是为了我们自己的健康。正如帕克所说:“方法固然重要,然而,无论我们做什么,最能获得实践效果的东西是,在操作中去洞悉我们内心发生的事情。我们越熟悉我们的内心领域,我们的教学就越稳健,我们的生活就越踏实。” 有这样一句话:“如果你热爱你的工作,你就是它的主人;如果你恨它,它就是你的主人。”愿我们都热爱自己的工作,愿我们都能找到教学的勇气、保持教学的勇气——无所畏惧,勇往直前!
