一：课程目标：

“英语美文阅读与欣赏”课程是国家课程的校本化，旨在根据学生英语学习水平的实际情况补充适量、相当的素材，弥补英语教材的不足，扩大学生的视野，丰富学生的背景知识，使得学生更广泛地了解英语国家的文化，在语言学习的同时，陶冶情操，提高文学素养和人文素养。

二：课程内容和活动安排

课程内容：

英国美国澳大利亚和新西兰等主要英语多家的 a.关于英语国家风情习俗；b.中西方国家饮食文化的差异；c.关于中西方国家节日的差异；d.关于英语国家的音乐文化；e.关于英语国家的旅游发展； g.关于中西方文化差异；h.关于中英宗教信仰的差异。

活动安排：

1. 通过阅读有关材料或观看影视作品了解主要英语国家风俗中的衣食住行，走近普通英语国家人们的生活，了解他们的传统宗教和价值观。

2. 通过搜集这些国家的名人主要城市名胜古迹等的资料从而了解他们的历史文化和发展。

3. 通过互联网上搜集对以上国家发布的旅游和留学信息，了解这些国家年轻人的思想和生活方式。

4. 通过学习英语歌曲和观看英美原声影视作品，直观地感受英语的魅力，激发他们对这门学科的兴趣。

5. 通过对材料的了解，要求学生落实到“输出”这一环节，在每次课程结束时，反馈所学内容，反思学习效果。并对自己做出评价。

三．课程实施建议

以人教社2004年新版高中英语教材范本,依照教材的内容,力图在教材外给学生开发出一本适合我校校情英语课程。在编写中，考虑到学生英语能力的分层实际，以三个层次开展校本英语教学编写，尽量在内容的选择，编写体例的设计符合我校高中学生实际特点，努力创设适合学生发展的情景。
