例如“Brazilian fruit tastes delicious”一句利用“taste”表示整个句子的被动意义,而“My father is difficult to request”一句也在主动句的句型中用“difficult”加具有被动意义的不定式结构来表现被动的概念。 [1]Nord·Christiane Translating as a Purposeful Activity: Functionalist Approaches Explained (Translation Theories Explored).New York: Routledge,2014,5。

例如:“He is a perfect stranger in the city.”
