词汇精讲

a和is/are在英语中称为“be”动词。be动词在句子中作谓语时,需要有人称和数的变化,并且不同的时态中be 动词也要有相应的变化。句子的主语是I时,be动词用a。例如:

Iaaboy.我是个男孩。

句子的主语是第三人称单数时,be动词用is。例如:

Heisaboy.他是个男孩。

句子的主语是第二人称单数或者是所有人称代词复数的时候,be动词用are。例如:

youareagoodboy.你是一个好男孩。

【拓展】be动词的用法口诀:

I用a,you用are,is连着他(he),她(she),它(it)。名词单数用is,复数一律都用are。

eet动词,“遇见,碰见,迎接”。其同音词是“eat(肉)”。

例如:

Gladtoeetyou.(遇见)很高兴见到你。

Igototheairporttoeether.(迎接)我去机场接她。

he意为“他”,是人称代词,并且是人称代词的主格形式,在句子中做主语,通常位于动词的前面或者句子开头。例如: Heisastudent.他是个学生。

he的宾格是hi,在句子中做宾语,通常位于动词的后面。例如:

Ilikehi.我喜欢他。

he的形容词性物主代词是his,意为“他的”。用于名词的前面。例如:

Hisnaeisike.他的名字是迈克。

【注意】其他的人称代词也有相似的用法。例如:

speak一词强调说话的能力、对象和方式。用作及物动词时后接表示语言的名词作宾语;用作不及物动词时,后接介词to,表示“与……讲话”,一般用于打电话用语中或较正

“That’sok./Notatall./That’sallright.”除了可以回答“Thanks.”之类表示感谢的话以外,还可以回答“sorry”之类表示道歉的话,意为“没关系,没什么”。但是“youarewelcoe”只能用来回答别人的感谢。例如:-I’sorry,I’late.很抱歉,我迟到了。

.为固定结构,意为“要求某人做某事”,其否定形式为.,意为“要求某人别做某事”。例如:

【拓展】ask的常见搭配:

(1)与介词for连用,有“要求得到”的意思。例如:

aryasksherfatherforoney.

玛丽向她父亲要钱。

(2)与about连用,表示询问或打听关于某事的情况。例如:

UncleHillaskedaboutyoutheotherday.前些日子希尔大叔问起过你。

“in+表示颜色的名词”,意为“穿着什么颜色的衣服””。in指穿的状态,意为“穿着,戴着”。但它不能作谓语。例如:

【拓展】辨析:puton,wear与in

puton,wear与in都有“穿,戴”之意。

(1)wear指穿的状态,意为“穿着,戴着”。例如:

(2)puton指穿的动作,意为“穿上,戴上”。例如:

Heisputtingonhisshoes.他在穿鞋。
