Part one: Listen and Talk : (2 periods)

Step 1: (25minutes)

1. Guess: tell who they are

Teacher shows the pictures and students guess who they are.

Ask students to find at least one common point among these people. 2. Discuss: why they are famous/successful

Ask students: if success equals money or power or social status, yes or no? and why?

Why are these people famous or successful?

Show some pictures and ask students what they think about them.

3. Group discussion: what does success mean to you?
