I had to fumble in my pockets for my mobile phone and call the police. In a few minutes a police car came and rushed the lady and her child to hospital. I was, however, asked to stay where I was. In fact, I didn't leave the scene until tw o hours later although I was not to blame at all. By the time I got home all my energy seemed to have deserted me. As to the business trip, I had to cancel it. As a result, my work suffered enormously. Up to now, I still can't make sense of the accident.

When my parents took me to America several years ago, everything there felt very alien to me. And I found it amazing that Aristotle had written about 400 books on a variety of subjects. Stephen Hawking is physically disabled and unable to speak; nevertheless, he has made a notable contribution to science. What a miracle! Brilliant deeds of the great scientists led / prompted me to make up my mind to dedicate my life to the pursuit of science.
