A:OK.Basically, direct foreign investment in China maximizes the strengths of both parties concerned . China has maissive land, abundant natural resources , huge cheap labor , low taxation , a growing consumer market , improving infrastructure and of course , a stable social and political environment with attractive investment policies . All these are rarely found elsewhere in the world . On the other hand ,

foreign investors from developed countries or areas have sufficient funds , advanced technology and managerial experties . Direct investment in China will yield higher economic returns than import and export tradc .

A：Among others you can invest in a joint venture with a Chinese partner, or establish a business independently , that is , set up a company solely funded and owned by a foreign investor .两者有何不同？

B：With a joint venture , a foreign partner usually brings into the enterprise or business capital funds , machinery , advanced technology and management , while the Chinese partner supplies land, labor and a portion of the funds for the infrastructure . The bushiness is then jointly run by both parties . 企业文化 女士们、先生们： 下午好！今天我以安然公司的教训为例谈一下企业文化的内涵及其重要性。 在20世纪90年代的大部分时间里，旧经济公司的首席执行官们都在努力将运行缓慢的公司朝着敏捷、更富有弹性的公司转型。但实际情况是，真正的转型成功的公司是极个别的例子。转变一家大型公司的核心理念、态度和基本关系极其困难。这就是20世纪90年代末大批学者和顾问涌入安然公司并推崇其为管理典范的原因。当时的安然似乎已从一家平庸、节制的公用事业公司转型为一家快速运营、业绩出众的企业。 可惜这不是事实，安然栽了。当年那批学者中很多人现在忙于从安然的崩溃中分析并不仅仅因为公司做了假账或者所谓的高层腐败，其失败的原因还应归咎于恭公司的企业文化，正是这种企业文化曾经是安然引人注目、备受青睐。过分强调收益的增长和个人的主动性，加上缺乏那种常规的公司制约平衡机制，使安然的企业文化从推崇进取性的战略变为日益依赖不道德的手段。最后，公司对没有经验的年轻管理人员过渡宽容，公司又缺乏必要的控制手段尽可能降低可能出现的失败。 2001年杰夫瑞斯基林就任安然首席执行官。他改变公司的方法完全出自新经济攻略手册。安然取消了一些管理层，从外界招募了数百名职员，鼓励他们向受传统束缚的企业注入新思想。公司废除了基于

资历的薪水制度，取而代之的是更富有激励性的分配制度，表现出众的员工可以获得丰厚的现金奖励和公司股票。公司赋予年轻人非常大的权力，这些年轻人中不少是刚毕业的本科生和工商管理硕士研究生，他们无须上机领导批准便可自行决策，决策所涉金额可以高达500万美元。 像IBM这样的大公司，尽管也出现了不拘一格降人才的发展趋势，但是青年才俊身边不乏资深职员的指导。但是你在安然看到的却是一群没有大人监管的小孩子在自说自话地独断专行。 新型的企业文化鼓励“张弛有度”的企业环境。这种张弛有结合的理念是指把严格控管与最大限度的个人权利相结合，从而使企业家的才能得到充分发挥，同时也避免企业文化陷入混乱。 然而在安然需做假账，这种压力往往压倒一切。安然的企业环境最终成了可以为所欲为的温床。公司内没有人提出切中要害的问题，企业完全处于一种放任自流的管理状态，公司就像一匹脱了缰绳的野马。 那么什么是企业文化？ 企业文化是一种观念形态，它以企业的价值体系为基础，与企业的管理理念的管理行为紧密相连，是企业管理的核心所在。从狭义上来说，它指的是企业在生产经营的实践中形成的一种基本精神和凝聚力，以及全体职工共同具有价值观念和行为准则。从广义角度来说，企业文化还包括企业人员的文化，即企业领导人员的文化心理、文化素养以及员工的文化行为。

浅谈商务英语口译教学 摘要：在全球化不断蔓延的今天，尤其是中国加入世贸组织之后，中国与世界各国的联系日趋增进，商务英语口译作为最直接的沟通交流方法，其人才需求量也在不断扩大。那么如何培养出优秀的商务英语专业的口译译员，成为了各大高校面临的难题。除了讲授语言文化知识外，培养学生的口译技巧和能力也是不容忽视的。本文着眼商务英语口译课堂的教学环节，从听力训练、笔记训练、记忆力训练及商务口译场景模拟几个方面分别进行分析阐述，旨在提高学生综合口译水平。 关键词：商务英语口译；教学；能力培养 一、引言 商务口译作为沟通中国和世界各国之间的纽带，在政治、经济、文化等领域发挥了重要的作用。近些年来，商务英语口译市场发展迅速，口译人才难觅。因此各大高校陆续开设商务英语口译专业，或是商务英语专业开设商务英语口译课程。但商务英语口译作为新兴课程，发展尚未完善，有待进一步深入研究。 二、商务英语口译课程简介 商务英语口译课程旨在培养和提高学生在商务活动和一般生活环境下所需要的商务英语翻译的能力和从多种材料中获取商务信息

并进行分析、理解、翻译等方面的能力。作为商务英语专业的主要课程，该课程的教学质量和效果将直接影响专业培养目标的实现，在提高学生语言应用能力和其他相关职业技能等方面起着极为关键的作用。该门课程主要使学生熟悉相关的商务背景知识、熟悉商务活动的环节，正确使用商务礼仪，最终达到有能力担任多种商务活动口译译员。 三、提高学生商务英语口译能力的策略 （一）听力训练 作为商务英语口译的第一道关卡，听力能力的提高是志在必得的。在训练过程中，可使用精听和泛听相结合的方法。在听力过程中，能够听出一些重要信息是极其考验听力功底的，尤其是商务活动中，不允许出现一丁点的差错，如数字、人名、头衔、地名及事实等，与此同时，又要把握住发言者讲话主旨。在商务口译场上尤其是同声传译和交替传译中，听力的次数只有一次，要求译员对发言者所讲内容在第一时间内做出翻译，不允许译员分心或马虎或其他意外情况发生，所以要在商务场合不出现错误，那背后就要花大量的时间专注于听力水平的提高。在平时练习时学生可采取精听和泛听相结合，在一段录音材料中，同时把两种方法相结合使用，部分精听，部分泛听。在做精听练习时，可对所听录音材料进行反复播放，对难词、难句逐个攻破，直到全部听懂；在采取泛听方法的部分，主要练习掌握大意，理解整段话的主要内容即可，不必过分拘泥于个个细节。如果在一份录音材料中始终采取一种方法，则会导致似懂非懂，见树不见林的效
