据说，勃朗宁夫人在婚前恋爱中写下了四十多首爱情商籁体诗，直到婚后才悄悄放进丈夫口袋，并说如不喜欢就烧掉它。勃朗宁读后说他绝不敢私藏莎士比亚以来最美的十四行诗。一年后，勃朗宁夫妇出版了这一组诗。How Do I Love
