1. Describe a good habit of your friend you want to have. Analysis:

Sample answer:

My friend is a big reader. Perhaps it is due to the fact that he grew up in a house with books. Besides, he’s been working in a library for a decade. However, like many other people, I treat books like radioactive waste. My problem is that I get easily distracted when it comes to getting knowledge through reading even though I am quite in hope of being focused on reading itself. As for the dilemma I’ve been in, my friend’s rule of thumb is "Just read...and you'll acquire the habit."

Nowadays, the fast development of the information technology has lessened the significance of reading in many areas. Web sites provide instant information. Yet after trying to follow my friend to be a book worshiper, I’ve started to realize that the basic knowledge has to be acquired from books if you aspire to build up a comprehensive knowledge hierarchy. So book reading cannot be done away with. For literary pursuits, books also contribute much. I can make use of books on the basis of these facts. I have been convinced of the importance of books not as a full time past time, but within the range of necessity.

2. What’s the difference between indoor games and outdoor games?

Analysis:

Sample answer:

Anybody who has played indoor volleyball and outdoor volleyball can tell the differences between them. For one thing, rules come the first. For example, when doing beach volleyball, players must cleanly hit the ball without a soft drink and may only have one toss per serve attempt. For another, comes the ball itself. The outdoor ball is heavier than an indoor ball, which makes it float differently in the air. It means outdoor balls rebounding much further will play off your arms differently.

雅思口语趋势分析和备考指导1. 11月份口试自9月份换题以来在Part 1和Part 2出现的新题数量并不大,各部分的话题总体趋于固定化,多数还是以旧题为主,如常见的有Part 1中的cook, color, shoe, weather, relax, season, friend, relatives等话题,Part 2中a person who has an interesting job., someone you think is beautiful or handsome, etc. Describe an old person you respect, 本题虽简单,但在old和you respect上考生要思考到位,其中在回答中需要以原因、背景或经历为依据对话题进行展开,以避免只是泛泛谈一个老人而已。

A Handicraft Q. A Handicraft (something made by hand) You should say: What it is? What it looks like? How to make it? And explain what other people thought of it. When talking about handicrafts, I’d like to share with you my experience of making paper-cut. Paper-cut is a traditional folk art in China and it’s been very popular in some ruralareas. It is paper cut into different shapes and patterns and then pasted on windows as decorations on festive occasions, such as the Spring Festival or a Wedding ceremony. I first learned to make paper- cut in primary school when making paper-cut was part of the extracurricularactivities. The process isn’t very complicated and doesn’t take long. Well, you need a piece of red-coloured paper, a pair of scissors and a pencil. Second, draw a certain pattern or write down some Chinese characters, such as “XI, OR FU ”that represent the auspiciousnessin our culture on the folded paper. Then use the scissors to cut the paper according to the pattern. When you open it up.Ta-da, you will find out a very beautiful pattern in the centre is right in front of your eyes. Finally , paste the pattern of “FU or XI” to the front-door upside down, which means the fortuneand bliss are coming. It is a very good practice for creativityand hands-on skills.

。。) i don’t know, but my father think that .....(我不知道,但我的爸爸认为。。。) i don’t know, but my friends thinks that .....(我不知道,但我的朋友们认为。。。) 你可以说:i’m sorry, do you want me to talk about xxxxx?

It's located in the north of the country, not really that far from the ******. Is there much to do in your hometown Oh yes, there's certainly lots to do there as it's a fairly big city (even it’s a small town/county). If you like going out in the evening there are a lot of good restaurants and bars. If you prefer cultural activities there are museums and art galleries. But if you like nature there are lots of other things outside of the city which are easy to reach. What are the people like in your hometown Most of them are quite friendly, but as with most big cities everyone is often busy so it may seem as if they are not interested in speaking or having a chat. But if you lived there you would know that most people are quite happy to have a chat if they have time and will help you if needed. (It’s similar to a common topic of describing a neighbor, isn’t it)
