My friend is a big reader. Perhaps it is due to the fact that he grew up in a house with books. Besides, he’s been working in a library for a decade. However, like many other people, I treat books like radioactive waste. My problem is that I get easily distracted when it comes to getting knowledge through reading even though I am quite in hope of being focused on reading itself. As for the dilemma I’ve been in, my friend’s rule of thumb is "Just read...and you'll acquire the habit."
Nowadays, the fast development of the information technology has lessened the significance of reading in many areas. Web sites provide instant information. So book reading cannot be done away with. For literary pursuits, books also contribute much. I can make use of books on the basis of these facts. Anybody who has played indoor volleyball and outdoor volleyball can tell the differences between them. For one thing, rules come the first.
