Well, the shop that I enjoy to go, is a local small continence store, it’s near to my house, actually, there are many shop mall in this street, I have two choices, both of two shops take me five minus to go. The first one is famous, Australian Woolworth; the second one is this convenient store. I chose the convenient store, you know, because I am from china, so I really enjoy eating Chinese food, for example, I can buy the fresh tofu from the store, also some products from china that you can buy. There are lots of choices. Yes, I know maybe those products you also can buy it from Woolworth, but it’s kind of different, when you taste it you will know. The second reason, the owner of this store is Chinese, her child also study in Australia, so I think she is really nice for the oversea students, she really know how hard we are, leave parents, do everything by our self, something she will give us a lot of information and suggestions, about part time job, about education. It does really help me a lot. Also sometimes, she will give me some discount, if she is in the store. I think this store not only have a lot of delicious Chinese food, but also have a good lady. Her actions let me think that I am not alone.

2. Describe an older person you respect and are important to you:

It’s my grandfather’s brother, he already passed away, but I really miss him much, he gave me a lot of good memories. He is a not talkative person, and also, he is looking like serious. But he is a very nice person. He used to live in a house, and had a big yard, when I had the vacations, he always invested me to his house, he will touch me to plant the flowers and vegetables. There also were a lot of animals and two big fishponds; I really enjoy play with him in the yard. Also I think he is the best chef in the world. And he would cook a delicious meal for me, I food materials are come from his yard. He used to work in army, I just heard it from my grandfather, he was a positive person, and he was always confidant and independent. It’s seemed like that he can do everything, so he always help others, if they are in trouble. I really want to be him, such kind of positive and helpful person.Hide and seek

This thing happened onmy 18-birthday party, also after the 18-birthday party, I needed to go abroad for study. So I just invited a lots of people join this event. There are my classmates, and my best friends. In total, there are 30 people here. We were in the KTV room, my best friend was late, so when she came in this room, someone were singing and dancing, someone were playing games. We were so excited. And she gave me a gift, is a small cup, and its bling. But I just thought it is made of glass. So I just put it in the table. After a few minutes, I heard a voice, when I wanted to take my drink, and finally, dropped into the ground and then it broke. It’s embarrassing, I just said sorry to my friend, but after this party, my friend told me it’s expensive, and it’s made of crystal. I regretted doing this. Why I was careless. Now, I still remember this thing, and also remind me do things careful.

The person I want to introduce, which is my high school classmate, she is called lily. She is really hard working. I think she has a good skill is she speak English very well. I admire her, because, her family is poor, and her dad and mum are famers in china. So the only things she have is a dictionary and some class materials. Her family cannot give her a good conditions or environment to practice her English, so she just do practice by herself. And she is famous in our school. She join a lots of English speech competition. And got many prizes. And because of her grades, you know, always be the no.1, our school gave her a chance to America, and study for one year. Tuition fee is free. She is nice person and positive, always help us to practice our English, and encourage us do not be nervous.

The book is called go away Mr.tumor. And I watch this movie in the cinema last month. I think is a good movie and it’s adapted from a book. The movie introduce us a real story about a girl call Xiong Dun. She is so positive and tough. You know, I have a family member who got a cancer. So I know how painful it is. So, I think

this girl really make a big impression on me. I think I learnt a lot from this movie, and I think this girl want to tell us, when you meet trouble, never feel hopeless, and never give up. And always remain you self to be positive. Actually, we her book doesn’t have a conclusion. Because she already passed away. And she left a sentence in her home page, you know, there are lots of people followed it. And she told everyone, if you feel tired or unhappy, just called her name, and she will give you power. I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world. Unfortunately, she is too young and so talent. I admire her and every time, when I feel bad, I will leave a message in her homepage. Actually. I think she really can bring a lot of energy to me.

The restaurant I want to introduce is Chinese roasted duck. U know, it is famous in china. Also people came to Beijing for travel, they must try the roasted duck, which the restaurant is called QuanJuDe. So, for me, I born in Beijing, I really enjoy eating this. So it is really important for me to eat the duck at least once a month. Also, I like eating this with my family members, when we have the free time, we must have a dinner together. It is really delicious, and you can choose different sources, you can choose what you like. And put the slice of duck with the sources into the pancake. Also, because of those souces are special. No one knowshow he or she makes the sources. So people only can eat in their restaurant and also their restaurant has a long history. There are lots of new customers and old customers come to eat.

I want to introduce one of my beautiful friends, who is called lily, and we first met in the junior high school, there are all girls in my high school. I want to introduce a band, which is my favorite foreign band, is called one direction. This band is from England. There are 5 handsome boys in this band. So that, you know, now days, they are very famous in china, and this band always plays the pop music. And I like their song called what makes you beautiful. This song also let them get the reward. I always listen their music, when I am asleep and feel tired. Their songs are positive and quick rhythm. So I listen it, I will have the passion. And keep working, and keep study. I think a good service that the shop offers is the samples. U know, some of the food store, they may provide some pieces of their products to their customer. Their salesperson will stand infront of their store, if their some people go through their store, the salesperson will give you a big smile and say hello to you, then give you a piece of cookie, maybe something else, let you try. I think this is the best way to sale their product. For me, it can help me to do the correct decision. You know, there are lots of different flavors about one products, so, some times I want to eat some different, but I worry about if the different flavor is not good, I will throw this product, and it is waste, and also waster money. But if they give me some sample to try, I will never need to worry about that. And maybe I will find some more products I never try but delicious.

4. A sports event you watched or took part in:

I think the event that I watched is the basketball event. And I think it is famous in china. For example, the game of NBA. You know, actually, I think most of girls do not like sports. Excpt that girls need to keep fit. I know this program, because of my father, he is really like NBA.And also talk with my about the NBA star, the sportmans. He always invited mum and me watch this event together. You know lots of peple watch may have more fun. Actually, I think I want to watch it, because it is not just a sport, people need to have the strategy, need to realise the competitors’s situation. And need to good ability to quickly respond every

Every time when I was caught in the traffic jam. I will feel uncomfortable. When I was in the high school, at 6pm, all parent will came to school and pick up their child. And there are lots of cars in front of the school gate. And some parents come late and there is no space to park, so they may put their car in the road. So this is a big traffic jam, other cars cannot go through this road. So you only can wait, seat in the car, maybe one hour, you will feel bad, have a lots of homework to do. And you want to go home early. Also, someone always sounds his or her horn, the sound is loud, and you will feel irritable. So, sometimes, you’d better choose the bus go to home. It is quicker.

6. A family member who is close to you

The member who is closes to me, I think this answer it’s my mum. Actually, my mum work at home, so she has a lot of time with me, look after me. So I think in my childhood, there are many memories are bout my mum and I. she really like going to the park, Chinese traditional park. She likes to see the view about building and those plants. So when I was a little girl, my mum will go to park with me in the morning. And also she like taking photos for me. So we always took lots of photos in the same area with different posture. And also we both like shopping and eating different delicious food. I think my mum is not like other Chinese parent, give their child my limitations. And you must do or not do something, we are more like friend, I can tell her any secret about my study, my life. And she

always listens to my complaint. And give me suggestions, without any angry. And also in china, teacher always punish their students to copy the article or the exam paper for maybe 20 times. And my mum think it is not necessary, so she always help me to copy. Let me have more time to have fun.

I prize I want to own is a scholarship,you know, this is very difficult to get. So it is always be my goal and remain me to hard study. I remember, it is my grade one in junior high school. I kept top 5 in our grade for three times. After the final exam, the headmaster decided gives me 5000 Yuan as a prize.
