Unit 6 Money

Part One Listening Comprehension

Task I Listening practice--listen to the word.

1.Guide Ss to read the six phonetic symbols: /ei/, /ou/, /ai/, /au/

2.Let Ss take turns to read one group of words respectively, and correct the pronunciation if necessary. (10')

Part Five Grammar—Subjunctive

1. a. What is subjunctive?

It is a special variant of verb, it is used to express what does not conform to the fact, such as presumption, wish, imagination, suggestion, order and so on.

b.When do we need it?

If the expression does not agree with the real fact, we can apply subjunctive to tell the hidden meaning of the sentences.

c.How many forms does it take, what are they?
