第1～4题为传统SECTION 1开篇题型，难度并不大，但出现了若干混淆信息。考生如果慌张就很容易写下错误信息。题目中表格需要填的信息全都是关于Kingswell的，但之前听到的tennis court和football都是另一家健身中心拥有的。judo和stretch 并不是答案，因为他们现在都没有提供，而是soon，所以现在有的只有yoga，文中出现了relax after exercise也提到了第4题题干中的restaurant，答案很显然为
(a)salad bar.
第5～8题全为数字题，即考查三种不同会员的会费及设施使用的时间，所以会出现许多同类型信息。但题目中的答案是按顺序出现的，因此听时不必慌张。第5题为非常典型的信息修正，oh sorry之后为正确信息。第8题需要分清joining fee和annual fee，
前者为“入会费”，后者为“年费”。
第9、10题为完成句子。第9题题干中出现了原文中的join，难度不大，但需要注意assessment的拼写。第10题考查人名，拼写时一定要做到先听单词再听字母。
