1、中西思维方式的差异及其对各自语言的影响

1)Western:重理性和逻辑,具有“是玫瑰花也给拆散”的抽象思辨能力。

英语语言特征:功能性。

Eg:

1.There is no difference but difference of degree between different degrees of

difference and no difference.

五十步与百步有何异乎?

China:重直觉和意象,强调以直觉顿悟式的综合思维方式去亲近世界。

汉语语言特征:形象性,直观性。喜用具体比喻抽象,量词丰富。

2)西方:分析性思维。

词义表述:具体;准确;句式结构严谨(一般描述应对中文四字成语)

中国:整体性思维。

词义表述:笼统;模糊;对称平衡(四字词使用频繁)

Eg:

3)英语:重结构严谨,表意精确甚于音韵节奏。

汉语:重音韵节奏,双音节、四字结构可创造更好的语感。

2、综合语和分析语

所谓综合型语言,是指这种语言主要通过本身的形态变化来表达语法意义。

所谓分析型语言,是指这种语言中的句法关系主要不是通过词本身的形态来表达,而是通过虚词、词序等手段来表示。
