Template for the topics: garden, park, tourist attraction, quiet place, lake/river/sea/…

It had been a dream for me to travel to the West Lake. This past spring I was fortunate to make that dream come true.

Unlike what I’d thought, the West Lake was actually not just one single lake. Rather, the lake consisted of five parts. The main part was a vast expense of water. It was a breezy, shiny day and the water was shimmering and rippling gracefully. I could also spot some gentle roiling hills within walking distance and feel the refreshing breeze on my face.

Obviously, the Hangzhou government had spent tons of money developing the West Lake as a tourist attraction. The willows were well-trimmed and the grass was neatly-mowed. There were nice benches everywhere. Birds were chirping cheerfully around me as I strolled around.

I also checked out the “Ten Scenes of the West Lake”, you know, the ten most famous scenic spots nearby, like the Lei Feng Pagoda. It offered a spectacular view…Template for any topics about family member or teacher

Let me talk about my favorite teacher. He’s a high-school teacher, you know, a really outstanding one. His classes are always well-liked and he’s great at sharing history knowledge with his students. He is my father.

In terms of appearance, my father is a handsome man, which I inherit some from him. He’s articulate, knowledgeable and most importantly, patient. I would say that he’s a teacher who will never cramp his students’ styles.

The most impressive thing about my father is that he read tons of books during his college life, which makes that he can give lectures without books. In addition to that, he can always put forward his ideas about the events happened many years ago in a new viewpoint.

I learnt not only history knowledge but plenty of advice from my father. When I hesitate about something, I would turn to my father for help and he would never disappoint me. Most importantly, he treats my mother and grandparents well, which set a good example for me.

Template for website

My favorite website is CSDN, maybe you haven’t heard about that website, I would give a brief introduction for that.

I like this website primarily because it’s very informative and entertainment. It offers loads of information about IT industry, which has a tight association with my major: software engineering. This variety of information includes the latest information about technology, even the financial market influenced by that. Also, it provides tons of reading notes related to major studying. Besides that, the layout of the web pages is well organized and user-friendly.

I adore this website so much coz I can download a plenty of resource from it. And the

founders are like heroes to young folks. Those guys built this website at their ages of 30. Now this website supply services and resources for millions of students and employees in the IT industry. That’s an inspiring story to us.

Template for the topics like gift with special meaning, digital stuff…

I’d like to talk about my digital camera. It’s Samsung ST5000. After I received the news that I seized the chance of being exchange student to Taiwan several years ago, my parents bought the gift to encourage me to visit beautiful places there.

It got a sleek white body, light and pretty handy. The 3.5 inch LCD screen is large and clear. The touch-screen menu control is pretty convenient.

And…what else? Oh, I almost forget. It’s 7X optical-zoom so the pictures look great. It uses an SD card with 4GB so I can download everything onto the hard drive of my PC.

Most importantly, the 14 mega-pixel sensor gives me sharp photos. You know, the colors are always accurate with high resolution…After I returned from Taiwan, I have taken it to lots of places like Yunan, Shanxi, Guizhou, which supported me to record amazing traveling experiences.

Template for any topics about animals

Just like the tiger, the lion is also a member of the cat family and in many ways lions are just huge cats. Humans have been so amazed by the lion’s size and strengthens that we call them the king of beasts. Lion’s roar can be heard by humans many kilometers away.

In Africa, lions live in groups. Adult females takes good care of their cubs, hunt and eat together, and defend their hunting grounds together. But the males tend to be really lazy and some of them are even troublemakers. Some cubs even get hurt by the adult males when adult females are away.

I like lions not only because they are so strong, but because my girlfriend is a Leo. So you know what it means, like “love me, love my sign”.

Template for film

In my view, The Lion King was a great animates movie. It was shown in China q uite a while back but I still remember the plot clearly. It was about a lion prince named Simba. When Simba was a cub, his uncle murdered his father and made himself the ruler. But Simba held responsibility for the death. So Simba ran out of guilt.

After many years, Simba was told that the kingdom was in serious trouble. So he faced up to his responsibilities, returned, defeated his uncle and saved the kingdom. The animation was terrific and the soundtrack was amazing. I particularly liked the Song “Can you feel the love tonight.”

And I learned lessons from this movie. It was about living up to our responsibilities, no matter how hard it was.

Template for TV series

Well, let me talk about the Friends produced by America. Maybe you have watched it too.

It was a sitcom about six attractive males and females, which we call them close friends who lived in America. The conservations in this sitcom were pretty fun coz the six folks are in different personalities. Some were conservative, while some were outward and straightforward.

They experienced plenty of coincidences in life. The soundtrack was great too.

This sitcom has ten seasons, which means it lasts for ten years. My classmates recommended that TV series to me as an English learning method. And I fell in love with the Friends after just watching several episodes. The conversations in the Friends were so interesting and full of fun. I was moved by the last episode when the friends got separated.

Template for city

Chengdu is one of the largest cities in China in terms of population.

In terms of area though, maybe Beijing and Shanghai are much larger while these two cities are too dense to some degree and the paces in these cities are too fast. Chengdu is the culture, politic and economic center of Sichuan Province. It combines all the fabulous and special elements of Sichuan. There are so much delicious food, kindhearted folks, and a variety of cultures.

The city is a well-known place for tourist visiting coz it has such a long history more than 2000 years. We can randomly pick up some famous places of interest. Like wuhouci, dufu cottage qingyang temple and places like that.

On top of that you can always spot some folk sitting together with leisure; talking about the amazing things happened round, most importantly, a cup of tea would always be kept company.

Template for buildings

In my hometown, there’s a famous temple, which dates back to the 15th century. Even though it’s a holy place, it is located on the busiest street of my hometown. Bur from the moment you enter the temple, you feel calm and peaceful.

The temple, like many other Chinese structures, faces south and the front gate is guarded by two stone lions. Entering the front wall, you’ll see four huge sculptures made of wood, two in each side. They are the Four Heavenly Kings.

The Great Hall is separated from the front hall with a courtyard. There are lots of trees on the courtyard. The main altar can be found there. You’ll see a Buddha seated between two of his students. On the east and west sides of the walls of the Great Hall, you will see a variety of status and paintings.

There is also an eight-sided pagoda with inscriptions on its walls.

This temple offers cultural services as well, including classes about Chinese painting and antiques. So you see, it’s not only religious, it’s educational and fun.

Template for organization

I’m most interested in the FIFA, which stands for the Federation International Football Association. It’s probably the most renowned sports organization in the world.

As far as I know, currently the FIFA is made up of a plenty of countries all around the world. This organization was founded in 1930. At first, things are kind of tough, but these days, it’s one of the most influential sports organizations in the world.

There are tons of football buffs in China and that’s why FIFA has such a huge followings here. Some FIFA games are even played in China and the tickets are always sold out in like 20 minutes.

I do n’t know why but sometimes in China, live broadcast of the regular season or playoffs stop being aired all of a sudden. The TV station just doesn’t give us any explanation. And that really bothers me. Well, it’s good we still have the Internet.

My favorite football player is Messi and Xavi. They are really cool. I admire them not just for their successes, but also for their spirits, you know their sportsmanship. They have been named as the best players many times, which made them real legend in my eyes.

Template for singer star, celebrity, famous women……

Faye Wong is my idol. She was born and grew up in Beijing. Her father took her to Hongkong when he was 18.

At first, Faye went to modeling classes there coz she looked gorgeous tall, slim and had sparkling eyes. But she soon lost interest in modeling. Faye enjoyed humming tunes coz it was relaxing. A songwriter was so impressed by her voice and he encouraged her to sign a record contract. She released her first album at the age of 19. Then a very important album was produced. Several songs in this album became big hits and won awards for her. So far practically her albums have been really well-liked. Unlike other singers in Hongkong, Faye ignores the press. And that gives her some bad girl appeal, which I find really attractive.

Faye is not only a talented singer but also great actress. A couple of years ago, she even won a best-actress award.

I like her so much coz she’s multi-talented. And also I adore her ”rebel” image. She never treats the pressure well but the pressure has to respect her for her incredible talent.

Template for history politic feature

Sun Wu was one of the greatest military theorists in ancient China. I have read his book the Art of War many times. His theories have profound influence on today’s military and business leaders’ decision making.

He lived in an age of war about 3,000 years ago. Sun Wu wrote loads of books about military theories. When ruler of the state Wu asked Sun Wu to show his theories by training ladies of his court, those ladies kept laughing at Sun Wu as he gave them orders. Sun Wu had two of them executed immediately, then none of others dared to laugh again. Finally they were trained well enough to go to battle.

Sun Wu was appointed as a general because of this. From then on, Sun Wu led his

armies with great success. His military theories covered a lot of ground, including the factors that decided who would be the winner, how to defeat the enemy without even fighting a battle, making the best use of the situations and guiding the struggle to victory.

Template for festival

The Duan Wu Festival has been even more popular since it became a public holiday in China.

The festival has long history been associated with a famous poet in history, who was so worried about his country that he drowned himself. On this festival, people all across the China eat rice balls(zong zi), to pay tribute to this poet. People love those who loved their country, right?

A nother thing often associated with this festival is the dragon boat races. It’s like a number of teams rowing and competing against one another. To be honest, I’ve only watched boat races on TV. It seems like such races are rare in cities

Considering the safety issues. But from what I saw on TV, I could tell they were very vibrant events.

As I see it , the Duan Wu Festivals is about vitality, about the circle of life Template for wedding or party

After the grand entrance, cocktails and food were served. People proposed toasts and gave the new couple their best wishes. I was sitting next to the groom’s father and he told me lots of fun stories about his family.

Then the dancing began. The bride and the groom did the first dance. They looked wonderful together and everyone could tell they were deeply in love. The music was slow and felt so romantic. The dancing went on, you know, the father/daughter dance, the mother/son dance…

A while later, my favorite part, the cake-cutting! The cake was huge and delicious and everyone got a bite…

The most exciting part was probably when the bride tossed her bouquet to the single ladies there coz the girl who got the bouquet was supposed to be the next to marry. All girls tried to become the lucky one but, you know what? A 9 year-old ended up catching it.

At the end of the reception, all of us gathered in a circle and sang happy songs…

That was a really memorable experience.

Template for events

As you know, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games attracted attention from across the world.

Everything was impressive, you know, the torch relay, the opening ceremony, the competitions, the closing ceremony…you name it.

What I particularly liked about the Game was that the ceremonies had a Chinese “feel” to them, which made them so unique.

During those two weeks, Beijing was teeming with visitors. The Olympic venues like the “Bird’s nest”, “Water cubic” were absolutely breathtaking. And the city offered an amazing variety of museums, night clubs, restaurants and shopping malls. And some traffic was ordered off the streets to keep the street clear.

A totally incredible sports event.

Template for presentation

Last week, my tutor asked us to prepare for a presentation on differences between some related references papers on Cloud Computing. He told us how we should structure our presentation and the divided us into pairs.

After that, my partner and I went to web library and checked out a whole bunch of papers on those writers. Then we read the materials thoroughly and figured out what we would present. We started making power point slides in order to make the information memorable. We also made some notes cards to remind ourselves of the information we were going to present.

During the actual presentation, my teammate did the introduction first, and then I presented our findings and comparisons while he managed the slides. At first, I was a bit nervous speaking in front of the class. But gradually, I began to feel at ease. When I forgot what I should say next, I just glanced down at the note cards for clues.

I learned a lot from that experience, like preparation could really make all the difference between a good and a bad presentation.

I’m looking forward to our presentation now……..

Template for performance or show

Let me share experience about a music concert performed by Tao Wang, a renowned clarinet musician, and his partner. My friend and I made a huge poster with the member’s name in them, to hold up during the concert.

It was held in a hall of campus. It turned out that not just young folks go there, but also attracted people of all ages.

The hall was totally packed

When the musician actually took the stage, we went fanatical. Some fans got so thrilled they cried and some even passed out at the sight of the musician.

They played songs from many of their albums, including the latest one and even some acoustic songs, which was pretty much the highlight of the concert. The living music and the thrill just being there were incredible.

At the end of the show, we knocked into one another, screamed their names at the top of our lungs. The musician even noticed our poster and waved at us when they were on stage…

It was a blast…

Template for modern building, hotel……

I stayed at the Inter Continent hotel in chengdu when a summit was hell in 2011. The summit is about the topics between Taiwan and the mainland. I was invited as a student representative.

The Inter Continent Hotel is located in the south of Chengdu city, which is regarded as a new landmark of Chengdu. The architecture style there combines both the western and eastern cultures. I have heard that many celebrities stayed there before, and some conferences were held there.

The room I stayed in was pretty spacious and the room temperature could be set with a digital thermostat, which I found really neat.

The hotel has a wide range of rooms, from single rooms equipped with microwave to President Suites which is really luxurious. All rooms have wireless Internet connection. The hotel restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful and the room rates were very reasonable considering the location of the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Template for a shopping center, modern building, attractive place…..

Let me talk about a renowned shopping center, the Taipei 101. It’s located right in the heart of Taipei, which is regarded as a landmark of the whole Taiwan.

The mall is huge…enormous, once was the highest building in the world. It’s 101 storeys and looks exquisite because it’s wrapped in glass on all sides.

The interior is also amazing: very spacious and all equipments are brand-new.

My friends and I are fascinated by this mall because it’s not only a shopping center, but a place for tourists. At the high level of it, visitors can spot an integrated view of Taipei city. The service counter also provides a variety of services including guiding, full presentation as well as information on sales.

The center is a landmark of Taipei, not just because of its height, but also because of the superb quality in any aspect you can possibly imagine.

Template for an ideal house, living place……

Actually, my ideal house would be just like an average house, nothing too fancy, It would be located in country side surrounded with fresh air, have a couple cozy bedrooms with balconies, a spacious living room, a roomy kitchen, some bathrooms and a garage where my cars would be stored at night. Most importantly, it should be have a big backyard for flowers and vegetables. I love the feeling of watching plants grow. And hopefully, there would be a fish pond in the yard.

The living room must have high ceilings, a sofa,, some armchairs, a rocking chair and a coffee table. I would have a few vases on the mantelpiece and some family photos on the wall. As for the TV set, it should be a high-definition TV set with a large screen. And the big windows would let lots of natural light in.

What else?! Oh, the bathrooms! There must be a bathtub so I can relax in warm water after a hectic day.

Template for an athlete / sports team you admire……

Let me talk about my favorite football club, Barcelona. Barcelona is a renowned Spanish football club. The club has cultivated lots of famous football players, like Ronaldo, Maradona, Messi and so on. In addition, the club also won a variety of trophies, including European Champion and Spanish League for many times. Several years ago, during 2009 and 2010, Barcelona won 6 trophies in a single season, which no club has ever done that before. And Barcelona reached its peak and enjoyed applause all around the world. Their technique style on the playgroup is amazing and attractive. Their possession is always higher than the counterpart.

Besides that, my favorite football player, Messi, is a core player in Barcelona. Barcelona noticed Messi’s talents when he is only 9 and imported him to the teenager team of Barcelona. Messi uses his gorgeous skills attract all the fans of Camp Nou, the stadium of Barcelona, even the world. Messi won the world best football player in a consecutive 4 years. Now he is still one of the best players in the world.

Template for a book a novel……

Romance of The Three Kingdoms is one of the great Chinese classics and is compiled into a masterpiece during the Ming Dynasty by Luo Guanzhong. The novel comprises around 70+% facts and 20+% fictions. Some issues such as Guan Yu's weapon weighing around 40+ kilograms, the capabilities of Lu Bu, as well as the existence of some others are probably fictional.

That period in history can be said as the golden age of chivalry and although it happened more than 1700 years ago, characters such as Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Zhuge Liang have become household names among the Chinese. Tales of their exploits, courage, adventures and many more are told in the novel "Romance of The Three Kingdoms".

It is one of the most turbulent periods in China's history, taking place toward the end of the Han Dynasty. While the strategies proposed by generals are really advanced. Even some politicians in foreign countries would read this novel carefully and learn some wisdom from it.

Template for entrepreneur / wealth man…..

Let me talk about one of richest guy in the world, Bill Gates.

At age 13, Bill Gates started programming. Later he went to Hardward Law School, only to drop out in his junior year. He started a computer software company called Microsoft. He hoped there could be personal computers in every home and every workplace. His dream was to create software technology that would be inexpensive and easy enough for everyone use.

Bill Gates also wrote a famous book called the Road Ahead, which clearly explained the value of computer technology in modern life and made predictions about the future of computers.

Microsoft has become the leading IT Company in the world, which had made Bill and his wife the richest couple in the world. But they did much more than just becoming rich. They established a foundation to help people suffering from poor health. Template for weather, bad experience……

Last August, some friends of mine and I had a very unpleasant camping experience. We listened to the weather forecast before we set off. It said it would be sunny and breezy over the next two weeks, just perfect for camping and picnics. So we were totally unprepared for nasty weather.

In fact, we really enjoyed the first couple of hours in the trip. The sky was nice and clear. The camping spot was at the base of a mountain and the view was fantastic. We had a barbecue picnic and then started playing card games.

All of sudden, dark clouds filled the sky, strong winds blew through the campsite and it started to pour. The temperature dropped to 8 or 10 degrees. Some friends of mine even started shivering. By the time we set up out tent in a terrible hurry, all of us got soaking wet.

We didn’t expect any rain or chilly weather, so the sudden change put everyone in a bad mood. The rain continued through the night into the next morning, which made all of us frustrated. We just packed out stuff and left the campsite.

From this experience, we learnt that when it comes to weather, always hope for the best and prepare for the worst……

Template for a game you liked to play when you were a child / outdoor avtivity…..

I played the hide-and-seek lots of times when I was a kid. Normally, we played this game in a park or in a building with lots of rooms.

The whole process was like…one of us, called the seeker, searched around for the hiders.

The game started with the seeker covering his or her eyes and counting to 100 while everyone else run off and found a place to hide.

When the counting was finished, the seeker began a painstaking search for the hiding kids. And that was my favorite part of the game, the highlight….you know, the climax, because the suspense was just so intense. The hiders could really hold their breath, being afraid of getting caught. But then, there was always someone who got caught and this person would become the next seeker…

Hide-and-seek was fun because it was simple. These days we computer games and get fun of our cell phones. But sometimes I really miss those simple pleasures of life. Template for interesting news……

Let me share with you a piece of interesting news I heard last weekend.

Last Friday a guy went to a bank in New York and tried to rob it. Actually I thought

he was kind of a nice guy. Just that he lost everything in the financial crisis: he got fired, he lost his house and his wife. The only thing he had was debt. So he decided to rob the band and get some money… or maybe to get the revenge on society.

But the problem was he didn’t have a gun. So this guy just took a banana and put it in this pocket. He thought that he could fool the bank tellers.

Then, he entered the bank, approached a teller, told her he had a gun and asked her to give him cash, Of course the police came. This guy got scared and he pulled out his “gun”, I mean his banana.,,

The news was interesting. But actually, it was a sad story. Obviously, many people have lost their jobs in this crisis. I feel sorry for them.

Template for advertisement……

My favorite TV commercial is a shoe commercial.

A business man rushed to the airport in a taxi, hopped onto an airplane and flew to anther city for job interview.

Having arrived at an office building, he got into the lift and rode up to the 20th floor, looking totally nervous. He looked down at his shoes, only to notice that they did not match at all. He completed the interview anyway.

The businessman seems disappointed. He looked sadly at this mismatched shoes. All of a sudden, his mobile phone rang---- he got the job. He was so excited and jumped into the air. The narrator said calmly, “Converse can always take you there”. Template for vehicle……

The vehicle I will probably buy a Sabaru Forester 2013. I test-drove one last month and was quite impressed with it.

It has a sleek exterior and the build quality feels good. The interior is roomy, but not luxurious. The leg room and head room are just perfect for me and there’s plenty of cargo room as well.

As for the performance, the handling is good and the acceleration is quiet and smooth. The engine is kind of noisy but tolerable.

There isn’t much snow in my hometown. But during the summer it can rain really hard so I guess the AWD feature of Forester would mean safety on the road. Frankly, Forester is not for people who look for an upscale interior. Some interior materials are even on the cheap side. It’s simply not a luxury car. But it offers the best value in its class and provides comfortable rides. I’m a person who favors function over form so it’s great choice for me anyway.

Template for a photo…….

My favorite photo is a photo of Daniel Wu and me.. It was taken about one year ago while I was at the Hong Kong airport, waiting for fight.

I was chatting with a bunch of friends. All of sudden, I spotted a guy who looked exactly like Daniel Wu, which made me very curious.

Daniel Wu is a hongkong actor. With gorgeous look and skillful performance on TV, he owns plenty of fans in the mainland. My girl is his loyal fan.

So I just approached him and asked him whether he was Daniel Wu. That gentleman smiled politely and nodded yes. I got so excited and asked him if I could take a picture with him.

You know what he said? He was like, “Sure!”And he even said “cheese and make a V sign” He really made my day.

After I returned home, I got the picture framed and hung it on my bedroom wall. Honestly, I didn’t expect such a famous person to be so laid-back and so approachable.

Template for something you made yourself, software……

I made a software tool during last semester. Its name is FlexCloud, a simulation tool for Cloud data centers, which can simulate the scheduling process and compare algorithm performance. FlexCloud was a part of our cooperation project with Huawei Company.

My tutor assigned that task to me. I spent several months on implementing that software, including researching, designing, programming and testing on it. When we delivered that FlexCloud to the company, they used and finally said they were satisfied with it. We also wrote a paper introducing FlexCloud from its architecture, scenario, flow charts and other aspects. Fortunately, that paper was accepted by a top journal on cloud computing.

After that, I also did some improvement work to make it more delicate. The background codes are refactored and some graphic user interfaces were also improved. Then I attended a software innovation contest with it and won the first grade award with generous bonus. What amazing experience. This experience encouraged me to make things better in the future.

Template for an item of clothing you like…….

Let me talk about a kind of clothing in traditional China. It’s Chi-pao.

It’s essentially a one-piece dress. But it looks unique because of the fabric; I mean the silk, and the embroidery, Also, the b ell-like sleeves and the slits on the sides all make it so different from regular dresses.

Chi-pao is pretty easy to slip on and really comfortable to wear according to my friends. And it’s accentuates (emphasis) lady’s figure because it’s pretty tight-fitting. Actually I guess that’s exactly why it’s popular today.

Folks wear the Chi-pao during festivals and other family occasions like family reunions, as the embroidery feels very festive.

Chi-pao was popular among the Manchurian women in Qing Dynasty. But now it represents the traditional Chinese clothing in general and is often considered a traditional treasure.

My friends tell that the only minor quibble about Chi-pao is that many waitress wear Chi-pao in restaurant too. So sometimes it’s a bit confusing and embarrassing.

Template for favorite sports……

My favorite sport is football. Actually it’s one of my favorite hobbies.

It’s a good work-out as it exercises every muscle in my body. Also I guess team spirit cultivation is another benefit since it’s essential in our daily lives.

The fun it gives me is yet another reason I’m into football. Actually when I was a kid, the animation named Football boy was very popular among our boys, which inspired us a lot to play football. We always imitated the actions in the animation, although that would not produce the same amazing effects. But the animation rooted my original love for football and influenced me even I grew up.

By playing football, I relax myself from heavy study and make new friends. Nowadays, I play football with my friends almost every weekend. I also watch football games and review related news. I’m really into the renowned Spanish football club, Barcelona and adore the football star Messi. Hope one day I could go to her stadium Camp Nou.

Template for a foreign country……..

Germany has more people than any country in Europe, not counting Russia. Industry has made Germany wealthy. It is the dominant economic power in Europe. Its factories make steel, cars, cameras, chemicals, and machines of every type. Yet Germany lay in ruins in 1945, after its defeat in World War II.

Germany is the birthplace of so many great minds, from philosophers like Kant, Arthur, to scientists like Einstein and musicians like Bach.

Another thing I would emphasize here is there’re multitudes of world-class manufacture factories in Germany, BMW and Benz are the representatives of that.

In terms of personality, the Germany people are kind of rigorous, which contribute to the high-quality of products.

We cannot i gnore the fact that Germany initiated the two world wide wars, but compared with Japan, their attitudes after wars are worth respects.

So far, most of the information I have about the Germany culture has been from magazines or TV programs. I really hope I could have a tour there. That way, I will learn a whole lot more about this brilliant culture.

Template for extreme sport / adventurous person……

Let me talk about a kind of popular extreme sports, Rock Climbing. Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a pre-defined route without falling. To successfully complete a climb, one mush return to the base of the route safely.

Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber’s strength, endurance, and balance along with mental control.

Rock climbing history can be dated back to 200 BC, paints show Chinese men

rock climbing at that period.

Of course rock climbing is full of risky and hazardous, but overcoming such a challenge gives people an overwhelming sense of satisfaction.

I am really into a famous rock climber, Tom Frost, who is from California and he is best known for big wall climbing. Frost made his first ascent in Yosemite and photographed many of his first ascents. After that, he overcame lots of difficult places.

I have experienced some easy rocks, which are really attractive and amazing.

Template for an important letter you wrote…….

I’d like to talk about an application letter I wrote to apply an internship for a Hong Kong software company.

My letter was made up of 4 parts. I began with explaining how and where I learned about their program and the reason for my application. Then I wrote that I would apply a software research assistant in their company, since I am interested in RFID technology, which is one of their strengths. I also described my personal and educational qualifications. At last, I thanked the reader for reviewing my application and expressed my interest in getting a reply even if it was not what I hoped for.

Several days later, they gave a phone interview to me and fortunately I seized that opportunity. Then I had 6 months internship as expected in that company.

Template for a building, library….

The library of my university dates back to the 1950s. It enjoys the collection of electronic documents gathered from other libraries. Along with more than 50 years glorious history of my university, the library also makes constant progress.

The library is located in the center of the campus and equipped with more 5000 seats and 100 student study rooms. The library is surrounded with a favorable environment, with time square in front of, wetland park and living water lakes not far from it and large forest park behind it. Sometimes when I finish reading in the library, I would like to have a walk there.

The layout of this building is spectacular looks very imposing. The organized library is a landmark of my campus.

The service in the library is impeccable, so I am a regular there. The whole place is light and airy, which really lifts my spirits.

Template for architect, artist…….

Ieoh Ming Pei is a Chinese American architect often called the master of modern architecture. He showed his talents in architecture when he was young, since he was drew inspiration at his early age from the gardens at Suzhou.

Pei was born in Guangzhou and raised in Hongkong. He moved to United States and enrolled in architecture school. During that time he was unhappy with the focus at both schools on Beaux-Arts architecture, and spent his free time researching emerging architects.

Pei made lots of masterpieces, including the Kennedy Library, the National Gallery East Building and so on.

Pei has won a wide variety of prizes and awards in the field of architecture, including the AIA Gold Medal, and Pritzker Prize, sometimes called the Nobel Prize of architecture.

Template for a song……

I’d like to describe one of my favorite songs, and recently it’s quite popular and has been translated into various languages. Its name is Let it go.

Let it go is a song from Disney’s animated film, Frozen. The song is performed in the film after a Queen abandons her kingdom when her magical ability to create and control ice is discovered, by the public. Up in the mountains, away from confused and suspicious onlookers, she realizes that she no longer needs to hide her abilities, and declares herself free from the restrictions. She manipulates snow and ice to generate a magnificent castle for her.

The song is really touching and some music critics call it the best song of the film’s soundtracks, and someone describe the song as an incredible anthem of liberation.

The singer has a deep and rich voice. I simply adore her and I love this song so much.

Describe a family member you spend most time with You should say: Who the person is How long you have been together What you do together And explain why you'd like to spend time with this person.

多米诺骨牌效应:=Something you learned from math=Something you learned from your family=A piece of advice=A change you had=An important stage in your life=A text message you got=A letter you got=An E-mail you got=A way of communication=An important decision you made=A person who helped you=A kind thing someone did to you=A family member you love talking to=A good parent=An elderly family member=A neighbor=A good friend=A teacher=A science course you took=A subject you love/d at school=Your personality=First day of college=Your experience of getting money as a gift=Your experience of getting congratulations=A person you helped=A thing your friend did made you admire.

Describe a piece of clothing you wear on a special occasion Key points:Graduation, school, pink dress, accessory, Actually,in my high school, students are required to wear the school uniforms each day at school. Everyone looks the same to a great extent.【程度的描述】No one's special. So after a while,we all have the similar physical features. Baggy pants, oversized jackets, and big glasses on our faces,【生动的描述】of course【的语序】. Lucky enough【选取比较自然的连接词】,we had a graduation ceremony, and the high school allowed us to wear something casual 【转换词性】on that very day. For this special day,I picked up a really nice dress. My mum and I found it at an elegant shopping mall, which was stunning in the store window.【还是细节描写,而且增添了背景故事】I had my eyes on that dress immediately. It was a pink dress with a black leather belt, which was neither too fancy nor too formal.【加入形容的部分】It boasts an graceful cutting style with a U-neck shape. Somehow,it reminded me of a typical Chanel dress.【加入了西方背景知识】My mum said it might be too mature for my age,but I believe it was OK.【自然

Topic Sentence

For example,First , secondly, last but not the least来讲分论点,但这样给考官的感觉是在背作文,而不是真正的口语。 最好用well , also , actually ,as a matter of fact , you know 等等词。 详细我们以一个7月常考的考题试范:a place where you can listen to music A place where you can listen to music 一旦遇到这个考题,大部分同学都会说Home , club, concert , 尽量与别的考生区别开来,想想还有什么地方可以听,今天我们来讲下:学校的HALL

What are the effects of playing indoor games on children。 例如,雅思口语Part1中有这样一题——What are the effects of music on people’s life and work, 这就是显性影响类的典型问题。 Do you think weekends are important
