The last years has witnessed the increase in the awareness of environmental protection.However,there are still a lot of waste materials that have not been recycled.This essay will mainly analyse the reasons of this problem and suggest some solutions.

One main reason of this problem may be that the public haven’t realized the importance of recycling wastes.As economy develops,people have high incomes and can afford a large number of items.At the same time,they don’t know how to deal with what they have used and haven’t realized that their buying habits will cause the consumption of energy,crease waste and increase pollution.

The pie charts present the change of the percentage of the energy produced from various sources in a particular country from1985to2003.

It is clear that oil was the most dominant sources from which the energy was produced throughout the whole period,although it dropped from52%in1985to39%. Likewise,nuclear also declined,but much less significantly to17%,becoming the third primary source from which the energy was produced.

The percentage of natural gas,on the other hand,witnessed the most noticeable increase during the period,rising from13%in1985to23%in2003.Coal and other renewable resources,though whose increase was less marked,rising by5%and3% respectively.

Interestingly,the proportion of the energy produced from the hydrogen remained stable in1985and2003,making it the least used sources from which the energy was produced.

The closer communication between different countries has been a conspicuous tendency in recent years,both in economic and cultural aspects.Some people doubt the continually connections will cause vanishing of a country’s identities.In my view,the result of international interaction depends on the situation in different nations.
