Unit 7 How much are these pants?

一、教材分析

本课是人教版新目标英语七年级上册中的一篇课文。本课是第七单元《How much are these pants》的第一课时。通过本课的学习,学生能够运用英语表达询问衣服价格。同时进行情感教育,进行合理消费,理解父母工作的艰辛,增进对父母的尊重和理解。

二、学情分析

七年级的学生活泼好动,采取听、说、做、玩、演等的动感很强的方式,是学生最感兴趣的。同时应用多媒体课件,创设学生喜欢的具体情境,声画并茂,吸引学生的注意力,让每个学生在课堂上动起来,积极参与到教学活动中去,更好地实现本课既定的教学目标,收到更理想的教学效果。

三、教学目标及其对应的课程标准

知识目标:掌握本课生词pants, socks,shirt,sweat,shoe,black,white等及如何询问衣物价格How much is/are…?It’s /They are…

能力目标:学生能用英语介绍自己的衣物,能够熟练地就相关话题进行交流。情感目标:通过询问衣物价格,使学生进行合理消费,理解父母工作的艰辛,增进对父母的尊重和理解。

通过本课,能实现《英语》课程标准的如下方面:

1、在“任务型”教学中学会用英语对衣物进行询问价格。

2、学生能够积极地参与生动直观的英语课堂教学活动,感受英语的实用性和趣味性。

四、教学理念和教学方式

英语教学要紧密联系学生的生活实际,采用“任务型”教学模式让学生在教师的指导下,

通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。同时,教师在教学过程中通过丰富的、动态的英语资源,创设情境,训练学生用英语进行交际的能力。

五、应用信息技术的依据或考虑

根据七年级学生的年龄和心理特征,应用现代教育手段,创设交际情景,为学生提供大量的图像和声音资源,加强了学习效果。学生的主动性和创造精神都将得到足够的发展。

六、.教学过程

S tep1.话题导入(任务呈现)

通过师生之间,生生之间的“free talk”,Do you like salad?Yes,I do/No,I don’t.Do they like French fries?Yes, t hey do./No,they don’t.Does he/she like

strawberries?Yes,he/she does.No,he/she doesn’t.交谈复习了前一课的内容,同时起到了给学生热身的作用。然后循序渐进地引致Task one –shopping.要求学生模拟购物的情景。编一段购买食物的对话。

S tep2.任务准备

1、知识准备:紧接着上一步讨论购物,让学生猜猜“我”购买了什么。通过信息差(information gap)刺激学生大脑活动,进一步使学生大脑活跃起来。学生在猜测的过程中搜集记忆中的词汇,能更好地投入到学习过程中。通过多媒体课件依次展示“我”购买的衣物,引出本课的重点和难点。接着就自然而然地进行单词教学,此时可进行跟读教学。

2、技能训练:听课文P41 1a,1b,2a,2b做练习,使学生更好地掌握刚学过的词汇及知识,进一步提高听、说、读、写的能力,在听的过程中,适当地给予帮助,增强克服困难的信心。

S tep3.完成任务

通过多媒体课件展示一个clothing shop的衣物.练习对话:“How much is this

T-shirt?It’s seven d ollars.How much are these socks?They are two dollars.

S tep4.延伸,拓展

1、首先在这一环节,我设置了一个task,利用多媒体课件展示a clothing shop要求学生根据情景给画中人物的购物活动配音,如what’s this/that?It’s a

sweater/hat/shirt…How much is the red sweater?It’s …what are these/those?They are pants/socks/…How much are these black pants/…?They are ten dollars.色彩鲜明的

图画让学生的视神经和大脑得到刺激,引起了学生的兴趣,调动了课堂气氛,引导学生积极参与整个课堂教学。

2、接着设计了一个调查表格,把全班分成4组,每组要求一名小记者进行采访,然后向全班汇报。(限制5-8分钟完成)

回顾本课教学内容,教师进行讲评,评出本堂课的最佳“配音小演员”和“优秀小记者”,给他们戴上自制的“小皇冠”并给掌声以示奖励。

教学反思:本课以素质教育为目的,结合教材重、难点,利用任务型教学模式,学生能积极主动地参与英语教学活动。同时,多媒体课件的应用,从学生的视、听等感官着手,采用活泼色彩鲜艳的图片进行情景教学,在获取新知识的过程中以学生为主体,以学生为中心,轻松、愉快地训练学生听、说、读、写的语言技能,充分挖掘了学生的学习潜能,调动了学生的学习兴趣,使他们形成了积极的情感态度。

不足之处:在教授新单词时,利用单词卡进行跟读教学这一种教学模式,学生容易疲乏,有点像传统教学中的机械性操练。因此,在今后的教学中,力求在课堂教学上变化多种教学形式,在与学生的交流中习得语言,运用听、说、读、写、唱、演等形式,教会学生与人交流、合作。
