Americans regard education as the means by which the inequalities among individuals are to be erased and by which every desirable end is to be achieved.

Philosophy of American Education

"To build a free and democratic country

--- to develop vocational skills (self-reliance; self-fulfillment)

--- to take part in affairs of government(at the local/national level)

Every citizen has both the right and obligation to be educated.
