安装ubuntu软件吧步骤

用了几天虚拟机，因讨厌每次对于尚未安装VMwareTools的提示，于是决定安装它。
虽然不安装也能用，但安装后功能会增强。最主要的就是图形界面的改善，网络性能的提升，主机和虚拟机或者两个虚拟机之间的文件复制粘贴的缓存以及鼠标在虚拟机与主机界面之间的切换（不用再按Ctrl+Alt，直接来回移动即可）。
既然VMwareTools有这么多的好处，没道理不安装它呀！
我的虚拟机版本是VMware Workstation ACE 6.0.2破解版，主机操作系统是XP，客户机操作系统Ubuntu 7.10。
对于虚拟机的安装和客户机操作系统的安装，在此不讨论，网上有很多相关资料。
在虚拟机的操作系统安装完成后，建议立即安装VMwareTools。不同的版本可能有不同的方法，但步骤是差不多的。

安装步骤：
1，挂载光驱。在虚拟机浏览器菜单栏：虚拟机--安装VMwar Tools。
然后在虚拟机浏览器右下角有个光盘的图标，双击弹出对话框（CD-ROM），选择“使用ISO镜像”，点浏览进入到虚拟机安装的主目录，我的是“F:\VMware”，选择“linux.iso”（其他系统可选其他的镜像），然后点“ok”。
也可以在虚拟机浏览器菜单栏：虚拟机--可移动设备--（CD-ROM）--编辑，弹出上面谈到的对话框，选择好“F:\VMware\linux.iso”镜像，点“ok”。
这时，就能在客户机桌面看到有“VMwareTools”的文件夹。
如果没有看到，则进行手动操作。

命令行：
打开终端，切换到root用户。
root@ubuntu: ~# mount –t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom

2，复制压缩文件。双击打开桌面上的“VMwareTools”文件夹，包含两个文件：*.rpm和VMwareTools*.tar.gz，我需要的是后者。将后者复制粘贴到“/tmp”目录。用鼠标就可以操作。
root@ubuntu: ~# cd /mnt/cdrom
root@ubuntu:/cdrom# ls -al
root@ubuntu:/cdrom# cp VMwareTools*.tar.gz /tmp
3，解压文件包。

root@ubuntu: ~# cd /tmp
root@ubuntu: ~# tar -zxvf VMwareTools*.tar.gz

4，开始安装。
root@ubuntu: ~# cd vmware-tools-distrib
root@ubuntu： vmware-tools-distrib# ./vmware-install.pl

重新启动虚拟机，让 VMware Tools 生效.

不过，在你是否感觉到某些不爽的呢，比如说鼠标滚轮不能正常滑动。

我们这样解决，打开终端，输入：

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

这个命令使系统以root权限打开鼠标配置文件/etc/X11/xorg.conf。把文件中的

Option “Protocol” “ps/2”

改成

Option “Protocol” “IMPS/2”

重启Ubuntu，OK！
