The of theme of Jane Eyre is that the value of life is dignity and love. We maybe poor people, the disabled or some other unlucky person in the world, but we must have dignity and love.

4、Characters analysis

Jane Eyre:

She is the heroine of this novel. When the novel begins,She is a plain-featured and reserved but talented, empathetic, hard-working, honest, wise and passionate girl. She is skilled at studying, drawing, and teaching. She looks for freedom, true love, equity and independence. At novel’s end she has become a powerful, rich and independent woman, blissfully married to the man she loves.

Edward Fairfax Rochester:

Jane’s lover; a dark, passionate, brooding ma n, who is a traditional romantic hero. He possesses a strong physique and great wealth, but his face is very plain and his moods prone to frequent change. Impetuous and sensual, he falls madly in love with Jane.

Helen Burns:

Jane’s best friend at Lowood. Although she is unfairly punished by Miss Scatcherd at Lowood, Helen maintains her poise, partially through her loving friendship with Miss Temple. She is a tolerance and peace girl, and she has many impressive intellectual attainments. She believes god is equal to everyone, so she is not afraid of death. But unluckily she was died because of disease.

5、How I feel about the book

I think this book is very good. It mainly talks about the love of Jane Eyre, and tell us many principles, such as love is two people’s spirit’s combine, but not about appearance, money. And it tells us that woman should be more independent and thoughtful and do our best to be equal to man.

It is a valuable book for people who are search a true love, and it also hopes everyone can live with their lover happily.

Enlightenment of the Economic Naturalist in Search of Explanations for Everyday Enigmas. I61214054 Last year, one of my friends gave me a book, which was about economic naturalist. One raining day, I picked up this book out of curiosity, and began to enjoy it. The book is most interesting one I have ever learned. Robert H. Frank who is the author of the book is the Henrietta Johnson Louis Professor of Management and Professor of Economics at Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management. His "Economic Scene" column appears monthly in the "New York Times." His previous books include "The Winner-Take-All Society" (with Philip Cook), "Luxury Fever," and "Principles of Economics" (with Ben Bernanke). Frank's many awards include the Apple Distinguished Teaching Award and the Leontief Prize for Advancing the Frontiers of Economic Thought. He lives in Ithaca, New York. Why do the keypads on drive-up cash machines have Braille dots? Why are round-trip fares from Orlando to Kansas City higher than those from Kansas City to Orlando? For decades, Robert Frank has been asking his economics students to pose and answer questions like these as a way of learning how economic principles operate in the real world-which they do everywhere, all the time. Once you learn to think like an economist, all kinds of puzzling observations start to make sense. Drive-up ATM keypads have Braille dots because it’s cheaper to make the same machine for both drive-up and walk-up locations. Travelers from Kansas City to Orlando pay less because they are usually price-sensitive tourists with many choices of destination, whereas travelers originating from Orlando typically choose Kansas City for specific family or business reasons. The Economic Naturalist employs basic economic principles to answer scores of intriguing questions from everyday life, and, along the way, introduces key ideas such as the cost-benefit principle, the “no cash on the table” principle, and the law of one price. This is as delightful and painless a way to learn fundamental economics as there is. Commonplace book, professor frank from reality and neglected life phenomenon, first put forward a series of seemingly simple but suddenly unexpectedly let us hard to answer

Jane Eyre is a representative work of Charlotte Bronte, a famous British writer. This tough and talented female writer shaped the image of Jane Eyre with her own soul to call for women’s independent self-esteem, and thus has touched the heart of countless readers during the more than one hundred years. British philosopher David Hume once said, “The ultimate goal of life is to gain happiness.” This can almost serve as the best explanatory note to Jane Eyre, the leading character in this book. The book tells a story about Jane Eyre, a British woman orphaned in her childhood, who struggles and adheres to her own belief in various kinds of setbacks for the constant pursuit of freedom and dignity, and finally gains happiness. By showing the tortuous and twisting love experience of the hero and heroine, the novel succeeds in shaping a female image who dares to revolt and to fight for freedom and equal status.
