【篇一:商务英语口语课程教学大纲】

《商务英语口语》课程教学大纲

适合商贸英语专业

一、课程的性质和任务

课程性质:本大纲适用于商务英语专业三年制英语教学。《商务英

语口语》为该专业的专业课程,共分两个学期讲授。

主要任务:本课程是在学生已具备高中英语基本会话能力的基础上

开设的,旨在通过专业的口语训练,大幅度地提高学生的日常英语,尤其是商贸英语的会话能力及口语技巧,从而使学生达到基本满足

从事商贸工作所必需的英语口语要求。二、课时分配

总课时150 学时,其中第一学期72 学时;第二学期 78 学时。

三、课程教学内容

详细内容见上表。

四、课程教学的基本要求

1. 通过模仿,掌握正确的语音语调及发音技巧。

2. 通过大量模仿、朗读特别是快读训练,练就会话交际必须的口语

基本功。

3. 通过对话内容的学习、背诵,掌握准确而得体的不同场合下日常

和商务口语的表达结构和表达方式。

4. 通过训练,使学生学会并养成用符合特定场合的得体语言回答或

者提出各种问题的习惯。

5. 通过多渠道、多形式地口语交际活动,是学生逐步学会和掌握表

达自己校要表达的真实思想和观点,并通过训练,培养学生逐步养

成用英语直接思维与表达思想和观点的习惯。

五、建议教材与教学参考书

本课程使用高等教育出版社出版的《商务英语口语—interactive speaking》一、二两册。

六、教学中应注意的问题

1. 充分利用现代化多媒体教学手段,调动学生的英语学习积极性。

2. 创造良好的英语听说环境,鼓励学生利用一切课内及课外可利用

的时间进行口语训练课口语实践。

3. 口语教学中教师要发挥主导作用,认真组织好每一个活动;同时

要充分发挥学生在教学中的主体作用,尽量给学生多创造口语练习

和口语实践的机会,切不可本末倒置,以保证每课时的有效利用率。

4. 在进行交际活动时,教师应特别注意学生中可能出现的重语言形式、轻言语意义和在课堂上机械地模仿样板对话和交际功能范句的“伪交际”现象。

5. 同任何一门语言一样,英语的听力与会话一起构成了完整的英语

交际活动。故英语的口语教学不能与英语听力教学绝对分离。教学

中应掌握分寸,注意侧重 6. 原则上每单元用4个课时完成。因课时

的限制,教师可在合理范围内对授课内容及进度作适当调整。

课程的教学目的与任务

英语口语课旨在培养学生在真实的商务环境下运用商务知识和英语

语言技能进行交流和沟通的能力,为学生将来从事各种商贸或跨文

化交流工作打好基础。本门课在教授语言知识的同时,将通过一定

量的口语练习来达到拓展学生的国际视野;训练学生表达个人意见、情感、观点,以及锻炼学生的思辨能力、创新能力和团队合作能力

的目标。同时,本课程也注重培养学生对文化差异的敏感性、宽容

性以及处理文化差异的灵活性,加强其跨文化交际能力。

课程的基本要求

本课程力求商务情境与英语语言技能的结合,主要内容为商务环境

下典型的英语口语沟通活动,实用性强。修完本课,学生在提高英

语口语水平的同时,也能够学到企业的相关工作流程和内容,并加

深对基本商务活动运作的理解,能够处理常见的商务事务。课程的

基本要求如下:

(1)在教授语言知识的同时,重视培养学生对于语言知识的运用能力,让学生循序渐进的通过跟读单词、回答问题、复述材料、背诵

课文、自由讨论等丰富多彩的操练逐渐进入口语交际阶段。

(2)增加一定量的听力和阅读训练,提高语言输入与储备。

(3)采用模拟情景、角色扮演、多媒体演示等立体交叉的教学方法。(4)在完成基本教学的同时,使学生逐渐树立信心,增强学生的沟

通交流意识。

分析商务英语口语课程的现状

商务英语的口语化是商务英语最具有实践性的一个特点,作为在就业上并不占优势的高职生,如果具有熟练的商务英语口语运用能力就会增加进入国际化企业工作的机会。商务英语所包含的内容涵盖了商务活动的全过程,既包括迎接外商、电话联系、安排行程、购物、宴请等日常国际商务活动,也涵盖了市场调查、订购、谈判、签约、支付、装运等基本国际商务环节,而商务英语口语就贯穿在这些商务活动及商务环节中,是商务活动成功的关键所在。 1商务英语口语课的现状 一直以来,大部分学生在学校里接受的英语学习都是以应试为主,老师给学生教授更多的是词汇和语法方面的知识,能运用英语流畅地进行交流的学生人数并不是很多,所以“哑巴”英语的现象非常普遍,这是阻碍商务英语口语课取得良好效果的一个重要原因。 作为教学活动的安排和组织者,学校对商务英语口语课并不是很重视。以笔者所在学校为例,作为专业课,商务英语口语课仅在经济管理系的国际贸易专业中开设。把商务英语口语局限于外贸英语对话是当前商务英语口语教学中一个很普遍的现象,所以安排教学大纲的老师就认为商务英语口语仅仅是国际贸易专业的必修课,其他专业的学生学不学都无所谓。但是随着中国经济的迅猛发展,加之全球经济一体化的影响,我国对外商业交往形式日趋多元化,今日的商务涵盖范围非常广,包括金融、营销、管理、旅游、物流等许多方面,贸易只是其中的一个组成部分,因此,在经济管理、物流管理、电子商务、市场营销等相关的专业中开设商务英语口语课是十分必要的。 以笔者所在的学校为例,商务英语口语课作为全院任选课,每学期有200多名学生选修,分为两个教学班,每个班有100多名学生,这样的学生人数在口语课的授课过程中存在着弊端。口语课最重要的环节就是口语练习,包括老师与学生的对话,学生与学生的对话,而班级规模过大,学生人数过多,老师就难以兼顾到每个学生,这样导致的结果就是,口语好的学生由于敢于发言,得到锻炼的机会就多,口语就越来越好;反之,口语不太好的学生就更不敢开口说英语,造成学生口语水平的两极分化。学生课堂上操练口语的机会少,听力时间得不到保证,就培养不出纯正的语音语调。 2适用于商务英语口语课程的教学方法 2. 1基础教学法 要从根本上提高高职生的商务英语口语水平,就要从日常的英语教学抓起。所以,应该让更多专业的学生在学习大学英语的基础上了解商务英语的内容。笔者现在所教授的06级高职生使用的教材是21世纪高职高专规范教程《新编实用英语综合教程》(第三册) ,这本教材中的内容,例如产品介绍、公司管理、电子商务等,都跟商务英语有着密切的关系,同时,在练习日常英语口语的同时加入商务英语口语的内容。当前学生的英语口语对话主题,不应该局限在问好、讨论天气、询问兴趣上,而应该集中在一些在商务活动中经常出现的话题上,比如说商务接待、发盘还盘、装运、保险、信用证等。当然,这也要求英语老师不仅具有良好的英语知识传授能力,还要对国际商务活动的各个环节有所了解。 2. 2案例教学法 案例教学法是当前比较流行也是比较受学生欢迎的一种教学法,因为它是以学生为中心的一种教学方法,在整个教学过程中,老师只是学生学习的帮助者,这种教学法有助于提高学生的主动性、积极性以及处理问题的能力,应用到商务英语口语的教学当中,可以提高学生在使用商务英语口语过程中随机应变的能力。但是由于高职生的英语底子比较薄弱,对商务知识的了解也比较浅显,所以在选择案例的时候应该注意: (1)案例材料应该符合高职生的语言水平与学习需求。过难或者是过于专业化的案例材料会让学生失去学习的兴趣,所以所选的案例应该是生动有趣的,最好与学生的课本内容息息相关,让学生在学习的过程中有所参考。 (2)案例材料必须是真实的,描述真实的商务环节。任课老师也许没有参与商务活动的经验,但是可以充分利用网络资源来寻找真实的案例材料,因为只有真实的案例才能够在教学过程中

《商务英语口语》说课要点 1、该课在专业学生培养方案中所起的主要作用: 《商务英语口语》是一门实践性较强的课程。通过该门课程的学习,要求学生了解和掌握商务活动背景知识,能流利与外商谈论日常及一般商务话题。该课程属商务英语专业必修课,其主要前期课程包括进出口业务和商务英语函电。学生在修该门课之前需具备一定的进出口业务知识和商务英语基本技能。该课程的平行及后续课程包括商务英语写作和商务英语翻译等。实践证明,本课程在培养学生的英语口头表达能力和商务英语谈判应用能力方面具有相当重要的地位。 2、该课程在教学内容方面所进行的取舍、整合等课程改革情况: ①教学内容改革 在原有的发盘、报盘、还盘、商谈包装、运输、支付手段、保险条款、签署合同、商务代理为主要内容的基础上,增加处理投诉、索赔,国际投资、国际招标与投标、国际经济技术合作等内容。即由原来外贸口语基本内容扩充到商务英语会话及谈判。 ②课程主要教学方法和手段改革 商务英语口语是一门实践性很强的课程。以前的教学方法通常是教师讲解带读,学生朗读背诵,反复句型操练。这样的教学模式存在不少的问题,如课堂气氛不够活跃,容易形成教师“一言堂”的状况;学生实践能力和灵活运用能力较差等。同时,由于课堂教学形式的限制,教师无法正确安排实践环节,这也是影响教学效果的主要因素之一。针对种种现状,我们可加入丰富的案例教学,情境教学,培养学生的发散性思维,多维创造性,变“教师为主体”的教学模式为“学生为主体”的教学模式。教师通过让学生做值日报告、编写情景对话等演示,多让学生走上讲台,学生在自编自演的过程中充分发挥其学习自主性,能力也相应得到提高。
