摘要 漂移管直线加速器(Drift Tube Linac, DTL)是中国散裂中子源(China Spallation Neutron Source, CSNS)直

线加速器的主要部分,负责将脉冲流强为15 mA 的负氢离子从3 MeV 加速到80 MeV ,再注入到快循环同步

加速器(Rapid Cycling Synchrotron, RCS)中实现进一步加速。DTL 加速器本身技术工艺复杂,要求极高的加工

精度和准直安装精度,是CSNS 的关键技术之一。本文介绍了中国散裂中子源漂移管的预准直方法,从最初

的预研到正式安装,解决了一系列难题,包括漂移管的标定、安装和准直调整,形成一整套流水线式的预准

直流程,最终漂移管预准直的精度优于物理设计指标,可为同类别的准直测量提供参考。

Pre-alignment of DTL for China Spallation Neutron Source

Abstract Background: The drift tube linac (DTL) is the main part of China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS),

which can provide 15-mA peak current beam with energy gain from 3 MeV to 80 MeV . And then the beam will be

injected into the rapid cycling synchrotron (RCS) for further accelerating. Purpose: The manufacturing and

fabrication of DTL cavity and drift tubes is very complicated, which requires high processing precision and

installation accuracy. In this paper, the pre-alignment of DTL was introduced. Methods: We overcame a lot of

difficulties in this process, including the fiducialization, installation and alignment. By distributing the error properly

and following the regular pre-alignment process, this work was finally finished on time. Results: The pre-alignment

accuracy was better than the requirement tolerance which is 0.05 mm in three directions. Conclusion: The results

show that the pre-alignment is successful. This job can provide some experiences to other alignment measurement

with the same process.
