第一课时教学设计

一、教学目标

教学目标:

1.能够听、说、读、写与爱好有关的英文表达。

2.能够听说认读的单词和词组pen pal, hobby, jasmine, idea等。

3.能够听懂,会说,会表演Let’s talk的内容,并在真实情境中运用所学语言询问和描述他人的兴趣和爱好。

二、教学重难点:

1、重点:

(1)能够在实际语境中运用有关兴趣和爱好的问答句.What are…hobbies?He\She likes…交流.

(2)能够表演并内化Let’s talk的交际内容.

2、难点:学生能够大胆创编和表演询问和描述他人兴趣,爱好的小对话.

三、教学过程:

(一)Warming-up

看一看,想一想

教师呈现本单元的教学主场景图,引导学生观察主情景图右图进行讨论。教师可设计以下问题进行引导。

T:Who are they?

Ss:Zhang Peng and Oliver.

T: What are they talking about?Who’s t he boy on the computer?Can you guess?

Ss: Peter?

T:Yes, he is Zhang Peng’s pen pal.

(二)新课呈现

1、师生交谈,引入本单元话题

内容如下:In our daily life, we have many friends. How do we make friends? Sometimes we make friends online(网上). For example, we can make friends through emails or letters. We don’t have to meet them in person.we call them pen pals. First, let’s watch how Zhang Peng and Oliver make friends.

2、学生完成Let’s try,整体理解Let’s talk 大意。

(1)教师出示主情景图右页的图片,提问:Zhang Peng is talking with Oliver about his pen pal, Peter. What are his hobbies? Does he like basketball?引导学生进行猜测。教师提示学生注意题目中的核心词汇basketball和tall是听的过程中尤其要注意的关键词。

(2)教师播放录音,引导学生读题并回答,师生核对答案。

(3)教师继续提问:Do you want to know more about Peter? 教师要求学生看A部分Let’s talk插图并提问:What is Peter doing? 引导学生回答:He is reading books. 教师借机及时反馈:Yes, he likes reading. He has many hobbies. 引出hobby的概念。

(4)教师请学生猜Peter 还有什么爱好吗,复习学生学过的动词词组。教师把学生的回答以动词-ing形式板书在黑板上。

(5)让学生带着问题阅读文本获取信息,完成下表,并利用此表格检测学生是否理解文本。

3、教师根据文本内容引出句型并进行讲解

(1)教师提问:what are Peter’’s hobbies? 引导学生回答:He likes reading stories/doing kungfu/swimming/singing.注意强调在肯定句中动词第三人称单数形式的词尾变化。

(2)教师板书并解释like后面加动词-ing形式的用法。(这一环节只是让学生注意有这个语法现象即可,更重要的是在具体语言运用中让学生反复体验如何使用这个语言点)

四、巩固与拓展

1、教师播放录音,组织学生跟读。教师在过程中理解句子he lives on a farm.以及he also likes singing.中also的意义。

2、组织学生分角色朗读并表演对话。

3、“读心术”游戏

教师请一名学生上台将自己的爱好用动作表示出来,其余同学用you like......进行推测,最快猜中的小组得分。附四五年级学过的动词短语:playing football, playing basketball, playing ping-pong, playing sports, going shopping, swimming, doing kung fu, watching TV, reading books, drawing cartoons, singing, dancing, listening to music

五、作业布置

1.听录音,并背诵对话。

2.完成课堂检测中的相关习题。

3.告诉父母有关你朋友爱好的事情。
